Yippee! :D

UPDATE
The actor Robert O'Donnell is playing a mutant in Magnetos brotherhood. His role appears to be important. He spent a good amount of time on the set.

From Here there be Tygers! and docman:
March 6, 2006
I am an actor, artist and writer, working in the local film industry. Mostly background, and last year spen three months on the set of X-men 3, playing a mutant in Magneto’s Brotherhood of mutants. A slow start to 2006, but in a few days going back to set for re-shoots for X-men, looking forward to it. I am a published scriptwriter, with 3 screenplays published and five more in various stages of development.

Insomnia blues

A strange thing. Just passed 46 into 47 and am getting less and less sleep these days. I've always been a night person, spent almost two decades as a DJ in bars and on radio. So I've spent a lot of late nights, including a five year stretch in the seventies when we would camp out overnight at Wreck Beach, getting the best spots for tanning. After retiring fromn nightclubs, I got into the film industry, background mostly, and found the hoursd intersting. However, working three months on X-Men 3 did me in. All were night shoots and three months after filming, still cannot adjust.
Well, a good friend of mine, ten years ahead of me, is laughing his ass off, due to his having gone through the same thing a decade ago, but no mattter how much I plead, will not tell me what other surprises to look forward to, explaining his reluctance by the decree, 'it's funnier that way'.

Nice to see that there's a Scotsman involved with this movie again.

I wonder who he is playing? I might e-mail him.

Scottish..Hmmm....

BANSHEE? Nah, not with his daughter on the X-Men's side, that'd be messed up.

I thought of him at first, too, but since you brought that up, damn. :p So, Banshee is out.

How many other Scottish mutants are they, hmm? *opens Google*

Just because he's Scottish doesnt mean he's playing someone Scottish

First: Banshee is IRISH, not Scottish. Shame on you! :p

Second: Mmm, he shot for some days... his role might be quite important into the Brotherhood.

If the actor had been Irish, then I could understand someone would relate him to Banshee... but he's Scottish, dude! :D

Tomato, tomatoe. What's the difference? ;)

:p

I've just e-mailed him and I will post his reply when I get it

Is there a photo of Robert O'Donnell? I can't find one anywhere.

Here is what he said:

Just a member of the army. Background scary guy, following Magneto into battle
with the normals and the X-men. By the way, Sir Ian is one of the nicest people
I have met in 18 years. In addition, DO see this film, it's going to rock.

We have Juggernaut, Siryn, and Moira McTaggert in the same movie..

Banshee, Black Tom Cassidy, and Wolfsbane can connect them...

Could we expect any hints of them anywhere?..

A Celtic/Gaelic connection... Or a Beer/Whisky party!

;)

Thanks.

His role doesn't really sound special.

Ah, but who'll be drunk first?

My bet is Moira. She's quite the uptight librarian type... but once you get her near a keg, watch out. Inhibitions will start to fly out the window... :D

Nice to see he thinks this will be a good movie

A friend of mine, Crystal Marie Denha, is apparently in it. She says she has lines, and that it's a small part, but she won't elaborate. I'm gonna twist her arm and see what I can get out of her.
