Okay, so threads over 20 thousand posts are getting closed, so, by request of the Mods I am starting up a new one.

Maybe this time I can have a Higher post count than FTB.

Anyway, this time around this thread is Officially not just for figs, it can include DVDs, Games, TPBs, Statues, Busts, Figs....hell if you buy your kid some Spider-man shoes go right ahead and post it here. I was shocked that FTB never posted that he bough his son Spider-man Operation.

So this thread is the new Hub of the Hype Products Forum Universe.

    BOOM BABY!

Eh, ok. First christmas with my parents being divorced. About as fun as chewing on a broken lightbulb.

hmmm, it's sad now and sucks ass, but in the future it get's better,

you need to find the lighter side of that Lightbulb, Two Christmases.

I dunno, it's hard for me to give you guidance on this cause this year I will have officially had three times more Xmases with my folks apart than i had with them together.........no....they got divorced before christmas....so Next year will be four times more.

I dunno, I was six, now I'm 24......So I dunno, it's easier being younger I guess, I couldn't imagine my folks still being together........More of my life has been with them apart.

anyway I am sorry for you pal, but what can I say, **** happens it's for the best and just do what you need to do to get through it, everyday will be easier than the last.

Christmas isn't a time of year, it's a State of Mind.

Eh, it's pretty damn screwed up. The whole divorce was a nightmare. People say "it's easier because you're older". I'm 22. It was horrible. I'm still put in the middle of them, they can't even friggin talk to eachother. They put me through hell because they're both miserable dumbasses.

Oh well, back to action figures.

I also got a Palisades Resident Evil Claire bloody variant on ebay. Coolest accessories ever. It's a 6 or 7 inch scale, fits in perfectly with ML, and the hand gun and ak47 she comes with both have REMOVEABLE CLIPS. ML sized weapons with removeable clips. I think these came out in like 2002 or so, maybe a bit earlier. These figures are awesome, I'm raiding ebay. You see 'em anywhere, Rough?

Oh say, did you ever get that Captain Jack from the Disney Store that you wanted a way back when?

    Hmm. New digs.

At any rate, I finally got around to picking up a Harley Quinn bust from the Women of the DCU line. This, of course, is after the damn postal carrier left my original delivery out in the open area where everybody's mail is, where it was promptly snatched. Now I have to wrestle reimbursement from their incompetent asses. :down

Great statue though. Love that Harley. :hq:

If you see Palisades RE figures, totally let me know. They are sweet.

I did get me a capn' jack. A few weeks later they have them for 40% off at the disney store. Toy karma. Get it off ebay for $20, find it later for $7.

I hate that they do that, they should get fired over **** like that cause leaving the package out in the open is absolute bull****.

Anyway hows the quality on those busts? Pretty good? I ahve been eyeing up a couple, but I think I need to resist the urge of the DC Statues and Busts.......Damn Tempting though

Somebody should get fired, but they've admitted they screwed up, so I'm expecting my money back after all the damn paperwork I went through.

As far as the piece, yeah, I'd say it's pretty good quality. There's some nice detail on the sculpt itself and the base. They're only about 5-6 inches tall, but I think it's worth it. I hear ya on having to resist though. I've had to curb my spending recently. I'd spend all kinds of money on DC Direct if I didn't watch out.

I know, I had a hell of a time resisting the Statues from Marvel for a long time, then one day I bid $20 on one, thinking hell if I get for for $20 i'D Buy it.....I won it for 18, then of course I needed the entire set, and the set before that and the set after that.......it was bad, and then the Busts.......

Giving in has cost me money, I got some cool **** though.

Cap'n Jack is a pretty sweet figure.

I need zombies though. Right now I have six zombies and they aren't really threatening cmopared to all the RE cops and characters pointing weapons at them.

It's the allure of getting the whole set that draws me in. I wind up going after characters I don't particularly care about just out sense of completion. I had to draw the line at the Ross Justice figures. Of course, that'll be changing when Wave 5 hits in February. I only have so much restraint. Come to think of it, I may go grab Hawkman tomorrow. :o

I gave in to the Justice line and Bought Siniestro.....but DAMN THOSE ****ING FIGS. They were Seven Inches so I SAID **** THEM.

Due to that I am not a fan of the Artist Specific stuff.....Unless it's Benes or Jim Lee.....Some of the stuff that will fit in just finewith the rest of my figs....It as hard not getting the McGuniess figs, they looks sweet...and they are pumping out a lot of them too, though that will slow down when his Marvel stuff starts.
