The Norm Breyfogle appreciation thread!

Next to Jim Aparo, I always thought Norm was the best penciler on Batman hands down. Has a 70's feel to his art.

A winner!!

What issue is that from???

I dunno anymore, it's a cliffhanger to a great Joker story that fer shure.

Loved his Bane. He was lean enough that he looked like he could actually be a martial artist, while still maintaining some bulk on the character...

Ow man I'd wish Norm drew the entire Knighfall saga.

Best Batman artist since Adams to me. Loved their run.

I know it just can't get my head to spew out the issue number. It's the one with the ghost that crawls up from a plane crash after that boy dies in a dumpster truck.

Actually it's the issue after that boy dies, the "ghost" eventually falls to its death and Batman is re-collecting his belt. He looks up, and then we get this Joker image.

So the issue after that is the Joker story...

No one ever draws Batman like Norm does. Even Jim Lee's Batman is uninspiring compared to Norm's.

I like it, it's so much better than Ryan Benjamin's art on the previous Batman Beyond book.

there is a group on FB, it's about asking for a collected edition of Breyfogle's run. It would be great if everyone could subscribe to this group.

Thanks, I knew he sufferded a stroke. Didn't know it was this bad.

I know..I hope they do. But I heard there's more than one fundraiser going on.

Dan Didio said on Facebook that they moved the book up the schedule because of Breyfogle's health issues, which hopefully means a portion of the profits are going to him.
