All these threats are like two teens arguing over the phone.

It's pathetic and sad that those childish threats could cost millions of lives.

While that may be true, it's clear that N. Korea is the aggressor, and both S. Korea and US just reacted in kind. Maybe they should've just ignored them, but I don't know what the proper way they should've had as a response for the military threat.

I never said that North Korea hasn't been the aggressor. I was simply saying that they act like children throwing tantrums. If the South truly unloaded on them, there wouldn't be a North Korea left.

Don't believe that at all, during the Clinton administration there was talk of trying to bring it back. Thankfully it never came about.

There are levels in the draft. They get the young suckers first

Talk to my friends that were 44, and members of the Army Reserves....that ended up in Iraq....they ended up leaving 6 figure jobs to go to war, something they never thought they would have to do again after the Gulf War.

If they reinstate the draft, there is no reason they can't change the age.....18 -- 25 is far different than it was when the draft was in....they could go all the way to 35 and be just fine in doing so.

Talk to my friends that were 44, and members of the Army Reserves....that ended up in Iraq....they ended up leaving 6 figure jobs to go to war, something they never thought they would have to do again after the Gulf War.

That is because they were in the reserves.

All I'm saying is, its not unheard of that they could up it to 35....they are finding that the younger guys 18, 19, 20....are far different from those of a couple of decades ago. I could certainly see them up it to 35 and start there....and go down.

Wouldn't someone have to be physically fit to serve? I would be drafted, but then they would probably look at me and say that I would not be fit enough to serve.

Oh well certainly, and some would not be drafted for physical reasons....but 35 years old in the 60s and 35 today are very different.
