METAL WARRIORS made by Konami and Lucasarts in a rare partnership, is one of the greatest games of all time.

An amazingly deep mech game for SNES, you could have one of 7 some odd mechs each with different characteristics and weapons, more importantly, you could bail out at any time and fly around as a little dude with a jetpack and a rifle, and hunt down a new mech.

Old school at it's finest.

Sounds completely badass. And being a massive SNES fan, I'll have to check this one out. Thanks.

Also, not completely obscure as it has a fairly large following, but it is on the Pc, so some of you may not know of it: X-Com: UFO Defense. The finest turn based squad fighting game ever made, without a doubt. you cna download for free from teh internet somewhere. Do it please.

I'll second this, X-Com and most of it's sequels are flat out amazing. And it is fairly obscure, so good one.

Well, then I withdraw my endorsement. Anygame X likes must be bad.

IF onyl Mr. X were here to let us know how he feels:(

Brodie Bruce? Is that you? :D

Hey, long time no see.

How're you doing and all that?

Your signature indicates you watch The Shield and ergo have worth as a person, bravo.

I think Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines deserves a mention. The best game of 2004 that no one talked about.

I'm engaged, if you ahven't heard, fairly excited about that.

Nope, I hadn't heard.

And that's good. I'm happy for ya and hope things work out for ya.

me too, love is , jsut out of sight, man, out of sight.

how bout, oyu, what are you doing, besides changing your name to a worse version?

Ahahhaa.

Ah, not much there Brody. Started to learn how to drive this October, hanging out with friends... Reading, writing, watching movies. Been downing quite a few good movies I never got around to seeing in the past few days. Went to the casino two days ago.

So, not much. Typical teenger stuff, but that's fine. Thanks for asking.

Could you elaborate?

Well, you put your hands in your pockets, and smack your balls around.

The little games you keep to yourself, knowing you've savored that experience, never really coming out and preaching what an excellent game it is, but smirking whenever, once in a blue moon, someone proclaims that they too played that game.
I had that experience when I read your signature.Torment is one of the greatest games ever.

Nice! Great to know someone else has experienced that.

I've read quite a bit, seen quite a bit... Travelled enough and all that... But Torment's up there at the very top with the things that've really made me take notice, really, really think, among other things.

The last few hours were a bit anti-climactic,but overall the game was fantastic. One of the few games in which, even though I anal-retentively try to do and see everything possible,am left with the feeling that there is still an entire game-worth of material to still experience.

Or maybe not.I realy need to replay it sometime.:o

Heh, you could skim through a FAQ on it. I know I missed a lot, and I went out of my way to do almost everything.

Have there been any other games based on the Planescape universe? One of the things I loved about the game was the depth and originality of it's world(which kicks the Forgotten Realms' ass,by the way).

Hurm, not sure. I know there are some games in the same, well, reality and all that.

Don't think any really tie into it too directly though.

There is tons of RPG material though, which came before the game.

I'm in the middle of Brain Lord, an old Enix RPG for the SNES I found at some used games store at a fea market. Not groundbreaking, but definitely very cool. Kinda like an SNES Zelda but with less items and more puzzles
