Beast is an underrated character. About time he had a thread.

Have Beast and Dark Beast ever meet and if so what went down?

Yup. Dark Beast originally kidnapped Hank and took his place amongst the X-men for a short time until Hank managed to free himself. And then not too long ago, when Hank was trying to find out how to reverse M-day, he approached Deark Beast for help and was refused.

Beast used to rock. But now he seems to be constantly relegated to science boy. Its not even clear if the guy has super strength any more. Which of course I know he does but when was the last time he even jumped pretty high let alone threw a car or something - he's supposed to have class 10 super strength.

He doesn't crouch down anymore, or hang upside from the ceiling fixture while sipping tea. He barely jokes, and I don't even remember the last time he and Bobby were even in panel together, let alone hanging out or pulling a prank.

Hank used to be my second favourite x-character after Iceman. No longer. But then I always seem to favour the characters who get screwed over constantly. Beast, Bobby, Forge, Banshee. Thank God they've finally done amazing things with Madrox!

Have you read that last ish of Astonishing(#32)? Beast was right in the thick of it and wisecracking the whole time. You'd have really enjoyed it.

Damn! I dropped Astonishing after the ghost box arc.

The first two issues of the next arc have been a vast improvement.

Beast in my top 5 too. Love his wit & intellect. Also love his strength, dexterity, agility etc which seem to be underplayed a little.

The cat-look is ok for a passing version but I preferred the old look.

Looks like Beast may have a home after SWORD ends. Could amount to nothing but him just showing up as the roster is decided on by the senior members like other times in the pat
