BvS The Official Bat Vehicle Thread

I think Affleck would suit this.

Snyder will nail the vehicles. That I am 100% sure of.

Given Superman's involvement, I'd say the jet is a safe bet.

Based on the style MOS, I'm guessing whatever vehicles Batman will have will be more comic booky than those we saw in the Dark Knight Trilogy, but not as Comic Booky as the comic books or most of the pre-Nolan bat-films.

CAR: I sort of see the Batmobile as being like what would happen if a humvee or stryker and a sports car had a baby (as opposed to the Tumbler, which was a tank having a baby with a sports car). I dunno if we'd see it that much if most of the action takes place in Metropolis, which I'm guessing it will.

BIKE: There's only so much you can do with a motorcycle... honestly, if anything, I have to wonder if maybe just having more a more "built" Batpod might be a good idea.

PLANE: Imagine if an F-35 Joint-Strike-Fighter and the F-117 Stealth Fighter had a baby.

Oh God the vehicles... I'd completely forgotten about the vehicles. I don't like to sound like a turncoat on my initial meh-ness about the film, but Affleck's casting has really unlocked my inner bat-fan. And Snyder will most def make those Batwing/Batmobile sequences look ridiculously cool.

I hope the Batwing resembles the one from Batman Forever, honestly. Schumacher or not, tell me this doesn't look cool.

What I'd probably base them on:

BATMOBILE: DCUO, easily.
BATPLANE/WING: Also DCUO
BATBOAT: Injustice

Past that, I don't see the need for anything else because that covers all three terrains - land, sea and air - which is why IMO a Batcopter would be redundant and since the '60s has really only been good for extra merchandising revenue for whichever licensee is making the toys.

MAYBE I'd bring in a Batcycle for one of the sidekicks when the time comes - Robin, Batgirl, whoever; basically a TRON Legacy Lightcycle minus the lights.

I hope not, I like the idea of Batman having a Jet but I want it to look like it can actually fly. Plus I think Batman just putting fins on vehicles is a bit ridiculous. To me all it takes to make something a Bat vehicle is to make it black. For a bat jet I would just want a black version of something like this.

Snyder will definitely nail the vehicles. That's a guarantee. With that said, Bat-Jet is a must especially considering Superman is in this.

if there are going to be scenes in Gotham, then it is a safe bet we will see the Batmobile

for Metropolis i can see Batman using the Batcycle as it is much more mobile and smaller to pack. but for sure i think we will see the Batwing/Batjet

BATWING ALL THE WAY!!!! so Batman can be on Superman's "level"

Whatever the Bat Plane is I bet it'll be way better than the one from TDR

I liked the Tumbler but it's been a long time since we've seen a legit Batmobile on film.

Put like others have said, the Batwing seems like a more obvious choice with Superman being present.

I'd be fine with holding off a new Bat Mobile and Bat Cycle till new solo Bat films,A boat and especially plane fits much more in this film..Unless there's a big scene or two in Gotham But even then I'd want Batman on roof tops

As said, a batwing seems like the obvious choice.

If this is an established Batman, there exists the opportunity to show a line-up of vehicles in the batcave as cameos, even if they're not used.

I remember reading the novelization of Knightfall by Dennis O'Neil and he basically described the Batmobile as a supped up Maserati mc12. What do you guys think of that?

I don't think the Batmobile should feel like a car, personally. It makes Batman feel incredibly pedestrian.

This doesn't look cool. Not a fan of the 'dorsel fin'; makes it look like some weird gothic fish thing, or some punk with a narrow face and a mohawk.
