Plus, everything about Alexis' acting style, voice etc is completely wrong for Carol Ferris and she has no visual resemblence to the character.

What does Carol look like? Like a woman in her mid 20's with black hair, who seems capable of running Ferris Aircraft, and was a pilot.

I love Bledel to death, but not for Carol.

Alexis Bledel doesn't have that look (despite being attractive of course). If I had to play it by the looks, we need a younger Parker Posey type, maybe less Superman Returns and more like her indie work.

No I just want an actress who looks powerful and and looks like an independent women. Alexis looks like she still asks her parents for money for the mall

Hathaway is a better actress but not by "far". Both are real women and that's what I was going for. And Lobo you should be helping me explain why I want Bledel. I think we're going for the same thing with our choices.

I learned my lesson from Jessica Alba. I want talent. Not a piece of ass.


You have to admit she plays a smart woman well. Plus I've always pictured Ferris as an attractive real woman but not some goddess.

Until the Sapphire comes along and then lots of women dress up nice.

The only reason she was a pilot was because her dad owned the place. She wasn't in the military or anything.


And besides it's a drawing. The only thing that an actress has to have is long brown hair.

What I think he means is that she didn't distract from the fact that it was "IRON MAN THE MOVIE" not "PEPPER POTTS THE MOVIE".

Of course Pepper didn't do that since she wasn't the star. Love interests can be big roles in super-hero films, though. They're on the front lines of in the supporting cast generally.

The thing is, is that she looks as old as I am. (I'm 14). I like that youre thinking outside of the box, but she just looks too young to be running a huge company. And she is most definitely not anorexic
