Guys, I need your help. I'm in Central Park and I have to open the gate so the Ecto 1 can drive through. What the hell am I specifically supposed to slime tether? Got the gate open Tuesday night, but turned it off because I was too tired, and I can't remember what I did.

Yea i have a LOT of achievements left. I said this was gonna be my first 1000/1000 game but, sheesh, its gonna be tough. I got a couple of the MP achievements last night tho. I really, really LOVE that MP.

Which gate specifically? Is it the one with the stone angels? Or is it the wooden gate with the 3 ghost faces?

Just slime teather the doors to the bumper of the Ecto 1

Hmm, I think we might be thinking of 2 different gates here. The actual gate has 3 faces on it, but I see stone angels at the very top. It's the first gate you have to open, when you don't have Ray with you.

Oh I got you....if you look to the right against where the gate meets the wall there is some shrubbery sitting underneath the weight...torch it all, the weight will drop and the gate will open...Ray will jump a hole in the fence to accompany you

I also loved how I went through a huge creepy thing my myself then Ray just jumped through a hole in the fence.

can someone explain the Slime dunk? Do I just weaken a ghost then slime tether it to the trap? I kinda tried for a few second then gave up.

Yea...get it dazed or down to a notch or two on its "health"...tether the trap first, then hit the ghost....got it on my first try

Tether either the trap or ghost first and then tether it again to the respective target, and it doesn't matter if they are knocked out or not. I also like to tether the ghost first and tether it to the ground or wall because when it slams down, it get's dazed instantly. Then I just switch to my proton stream to get an easy lasso and trap. Tethering flying corporals is also advisable instead of waiting for the Proton stream to wear down and then lassoing/slamming them. Those flying stone cherubs are the most annoying.

You can either slime tether or capture slam the stone angels into the glowing heads on the gate...Ray should be there with you

My bad, I meant the next door right after that one. When you get to it, the cutscene shows the Tower door blasting the Ecto-1 and then you have to find another way in.

Has anyone gotten a good look on the Rookie's Name Tag on the suit ? I wonder why they are quiet on his name

Yea it says Rookie. The first model they had to be the Rookie had to be scrapped because he came out looking like Gordan Freeman.

Theres 2 "keys" that you need to tether into the slots on the side of the door. Make sure you tether the pointed in to the key opening.

Anyone ending up getting this Stasis Dunk achievement/trophy? I can't seem to get it, I know you have to wear them down to wrangle, put them in stasis and throw a trap under to get them, but I can't seem to get it

Yea i just got it. I did just what you said. I wore em down with a proton stream, the blasted them with the stasis steam, then just tossed a trap under it. It took a few tries to get the trap directly under em but it worked.

Heads up for you guys with the 360 preorder codes. I just checked and was able to input my code, download my flight suit. Tried it in game and it worked perfectly.

I can't get it, I replayed the Museum level to get my thing up for the 3,000,000 thing at the end. I tried in that room with the Civil War soldiers, I must have tried well over a hundred times

Damn man. It didnt take me but 3 tries to get it. I got it when you fought those litte Cruster ghosts in the basement of the public library. I just froze the dude then tossed a trap under him, wasnt too difficult.
