I rented the game out last night and so far I'm loving it. The programmers attention to detail is astounding and the game really makes you feel like your part of the team. Trying not to run all the way through it as I want to enjoy the experience and explore every nook and cranny :D

if anyone wants to Xbox Live it up today, PM me and ill shoot you my gamertag....my first foray into the online ghostbusters experience

Yea dude, im sure ill be on at some point. Im always looking for someone to play with, most of the time i just play with random ppl and this game is tons more fun when you are communicating with other ppl.

Has anyone been able to add friends in the multiplayer menu? Every time I try it always fails.

Sorry guys... Teardrop, i have a list where you, or anyone else, may need help finding the water foutains for the Drinking Game.

Firehouse, near the basment
Hotel:
Extended service agreement... when you enter the big room in the beginin, turn right and go near the vending machines
Light Brigade... the hotel will flood with water... keep going till you ome to the evelvator where the water is draining, across from that elevator is the fountain
Time Square:
Spin Cycle... after the laundry machine maze, its by the door
Race to the roof... Right before the green room (which is the same room you have to destroy to get an achievement)
Library:
Story hour... Its in the kids room
Muesum:
The Ossuary... After the Egyptian room, when Venkman pops out to scare you
Return to hotel:
Emergency Generator... Right when you enter the door (not the gate) to generator room . Its on your right

Ya know... one thing i REALLY didnt like about the game... and i'm seriouse because i really was looking forward to some of his comedy... the missing ghostbuster. Where was Rick Moranis? At the end of the 2nd movie, he had a uniform. I believe they even had him in the cartoon as a ghostbuster. He better be in the new movie. Thats just unfair lol.

that's because he felt the need to help and took one of Spenglers old uniforms...in the cartoon he was their accountant...Rick Moranis is effectively retired and chilling in Canada...i believe he was asked to be in the game, but declined

Yea, Rick Moranis just turned them down. Hes retired living off of residuals. In the game tho, you can see his desk and on the monitor of his computer you can see a note that says "Feeling sick, going home early". Also tho, behind his desk you can actually see his uniform, with the earmuffs and all, haha.

Pat...had a great time playing this afternoon, im going to watch the Mets game, eat some dinner...we can break some more **** later

I liked hearing the dialogue from the characters; particularly from Egon, Ray, and Winston. Peter's dialogue was sorta unenthusiast; I know that's how he is but the way Bill Murray did the voice made it seem like he didn't give it his all unlike Dan, Harold, and Ernie.

Well, I finally played the multiplayer and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I played the Times Square Level. Though I played a ranked match, got 1st on all three rounds and used all the power-ups I didn't get any of the trophies for doing those three things. Am I missing something or am I misinterpreting these trophy descriptions.

Ah, I didn't know there was one in the firehouse. That's the one I missed. I'll be sure to do that when I go through on Professional

Yeah, that's the one of the ones I'm talking about. It says to complete a multiplayer campaign for that, and I know I did that. I went a full three rounds at least

I believe its a full online multiplayer campaign...its more than three rounds...check with projectpat...he knows more about it than i do

Three rounds is just when it stopped, I didn't quit or anything like that. It said campaign complete after the the third round stopped so I assumed that meant it was a full campaign

o then I don't know what happened....I love achievements, that little blip sound when you get one...I love it

Nice. In my case, there wasn't a game out, or a game that was set to be released that would have taken my mind off of this game. This was easily the longest wait for a game in my life. The game is also every bit, if not more satisfying than i ever thought possible.

I envy you at this moment tho, cuz the first time through is just an incredible experience. I highly suggest isolating yourself in a dark, cold room.

I FINALLY GET TO PLAY IT!!! :wow:

The marathon was awesome :woot:

I finished Ghostbusters earlier today. Awesome game, although there were a few times I felt it got a little cheap. Especially with those stone cupid things. Before I figured out you had to slime-tether them into the gate, I kept trying to thin their numbers by tethering them to anything and wound up failing the mission because Ray goes down really quickly and it only takes two hits from the cupids to knock you out.

Yea me too man. We are deff going to have to link back up again. That was just too much fun.

Make sure you complete each round, like you cant fail any round. If you fail a round, the campaign will still continue but you wont get the credit. Thats what happened to me my first time.

Yea, thats the only part that really frustrated me, then i figured it was MUCH easier to use the capture stream to slam them into the gate. Much, much easier.

Hmm, I don't remember, in the first one where you fight waves, the timer may have went out or something.

beat the Staypuff and took a break to find out that AMC is running Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 back to back

its like playing a movie
I was a little concerned because the first couple missions feel like you're literally playing scenes from the movies again. I was wondering if the game would just be rehashing the movies. But the story goes off in its own direction after that and it turns out to be a good one, so I was happy.
