The Official Infamous Thread!!!

There are some days where I'm really just in the mood to explore and collect shards. Wish there was a way to turn Reapers and Dustmen off lol

I'm evil too, so I got regular people flinging that black tar at me too lol. I wouldn't mind hangin out with the Reapers sometime :o. I love the missions where those teleporting ones help you out.

Are the endings the same? Or will you get a different outcome for an evil run?

Still on my first playthough, and I'm simply impressed with how the game never feels repetitive...even though in some instances I'm doing the same side mission. Wheter the thugs are tougher, or they up the ante somehow...always feels fresh.
Yeah the sewer missions should probably annoy me to no end, yet it never does. I think it's just that I'm totally invested in the story and the characters, and it doesn't stop being fun.

But even something like that, is upped when you get to the warren district by adding enemies into the mix.

I mean, there's no way aroudn repetition in a videogame. It's impossible to not be repetitive in a game, especially an open world sandbox game.

Walk the dogs is probably the most repeptitive side mission. But, I do like that they tell you the side mission before you enter it...so you know what your getting before you jump into it. You can avoid that sidemission before you enter it.

I like the sewers too. I think since they serve as tutorial levels for new powers, it doesn't get too old.

Yeah, I just did a few Dustmen CS missions and they did send goons to slow me down.

I wouldn't mind a race mission. I thought about that after my 1st satellite uplink mission.

I love this game...played it for a few hours last night

is anyone getting weird glitches while running on rooftops? its happened in different places where im walking on one surface of a roof (like concrete) and then it changes to wooden planks or something and he doesn't want to walk and he essentially freaks out until your able to walk away from the spot or jump over it. theres no way its too tall for him to walk on directly, but the game acts like your trying to walk through a building. anybody getting this?

I occasionally get the thing where he'll walk backwards and away from where you're headed, weird.

I haven't experienced any of those glitches but I did a thunder drop and died for no reason whatsoever. The Warren is crazy.I like how chaotic it is.You can't go a single block without one of the dustmen shooting around or those pesky trash spiders coming to life.I think it's funny that every time I get near a side mission or a story mission i always run into a bunch of dustmen first.
Did anyone enjoy the mission where you have to make sure Aiden does not escape the prison while fending off a horde of dustmen and those cheezy trash monsters.I had to fight two of them at the same time and it was a pain in the ass.
My new favorite power is the gigawatt hammer. It's such a great power cause it hits the opponent so damn hard and fast.

oh my god that mission was insane! when those giant conduits come in i just stood in front of the generators and gave them hell.

i dont use the move very often, but can gigawatt blades take down those giant conduits in one blow?

Anybody else think that Sasha is
Actually Trish? I just went through that mission where you have like the first conversation with Kessler and he says "Everyone has a breaking point, you...me...even Sasha" something about the way he said it, I guess. Plus her constant infatuation with Cole/Kessler.

We learn from the dead drops that Sasha and Kessler had some thing going for well before the blast, so it's probably not meant to be

Heh, no I just happened to be logged in when you made the post I guess. I was mostly talking about the shards and all of the multiple 'Do X action Y amount of times'. Like the High Fall and taking out 25 people on top of a train alluded me.

This is probably one of the most addicting games I've ever played. For me and video games, I usually can't do more than an hour at a time. This includes even the games I loved like Kilzone 2, MGS4, GTA IV, LBP. inFamous however, I find myself passing at least two hours a sitting. I think the only other example of this recently is Uncharted. The fantastic gameplay and an intriguing story keep me going.

If you mean the ones that throw out the trash spiders, you can kill them with one hit.I also like how the people would help you fight the gangs if you have good karma of course.I like watching them get knocked out by something so weak as a rock when they all pretty much have godlike sniping abilities. In part 2 they should have the dustmen run around with super soakers:cwink:
I have a funny glitch. This one happened while I protecting a bus carrying medical supplies from a giant first son.I knocked him out and he landed on top of the bus i was riding on top off.As I walked near him somehow I was pushed very quickly off the bus to the sidewalk but took no damage I ran back to the bus and finished the mission. All of this and the game froze on me twice:grin:

Searching for 2 damn shards across 3 big islands and have no clue where to look. Kinda frustrating

Edited to add: PLATINUM!
