Are you guys leaving the hype? Just keep this thread open imho, I fail to see how a thread about being hyped on a board called super hero hype is a bad thing. Traffics good for those annoying ads that keep popping up

I'm sure the film will be great, maybe a masterpiece despite Superman's lack of presence. One thing I'm glad for is that it looks like we will get enough character development, except for Superman...maybe.

This being said, the death of Superman shouldn't have happened in only the second instalment of DC Universe. Couldn't really feel the mourn.

This thread does not stay open permanently because it excludes everyone with a specific (read: negative) opinion on the film and, much like the "Positivity Thread" on the BvS board (we had more bannings come out of that single thread in such a short span than just about any board on the Hype), eventually devolves into a place for those excited about the film to come complain about their fellow posters where they can't defend themselves. And then they do, and then everyone's reporting each other, and it's just hassle for us mods to deal with. So we closed it. Y'all should be able to discuss the film civilly with posters of all opinions in the main threads, anyway. I think Reel-Man has the right idea to have a social group where you're free to exclude the negativity. But on an open board, it's just not the most viable thing to keep around.

I re-opened it temporarily for SDCC just to have a place for people to jump around for a bit without anyone raining on the parade, but I shall be closing it again tomorrow. So I recommend anyone who wants to keep it going, contact Reel-Man about the new group.

Yeah, I've seen that, it's too bad. I think there should be a 'safe space' for people who just want to nerd out about the movies proper here, but so it goes. But like Groucho said, I'll never join a club that would have me as a member

I would have liked an invite to the group. I unabashedly love the DCEU and would love a place to freely and safely geek out about it without having to either stop or defend my opinions vigorously amidst constant judgement and ridicule.

Can anyone tell who's saying this line of dialogue? I'm wondering if Steppenwolf's plan doesn't turn Earth into a Forever Evil sort of thing where he wants to build an army of the savagest of the savage metahumans or something. Like, to stage a coup against Darkseid.
