Go to the electronics in Walmart, and look on the side of the new releases for man of steel, you pay $27 for the movie now, it comes with a lenticular magnet, then once you open that package you go to a vudu website listed and enter the code. You'll get your digital copy TWO weeks early and they ship the Walmart exclusive steelbook bluray to you in the mail, shipping for it is covered in the $27 for the movie.

I can't wait to watch it in 3D on my 65" and in 7.1 surround. That in movie soundtrack is going to sound absolutely amazing! My neighbors are going to HATE me! I will just have to invite them over so we can all enjoy Man of Steel in all it's HD glory.

That was just a lenticular magenetic card that you got when you did the in store pre-order for Man Of Steel on Bluray at Wal-Mart hasn't officially been confirmed if it was for a steelbook or not.

However Wal-Mart is the only U.S. retailer that will be doing a Man Of Steel steelbook. You can pre-order the 2D steelbook I assume for $29.96 through this link. http://www.walmart.com/ip/28417224

It does say Walmart exclusive packaging a few times, which most likely would be a steelbook. For tdkr I bought best buys steelbook, targets digibook, and from Walmart the limited edition broken cowl, closer to time I'm sure they'll reveal a couple more store exclusives. So far for MOS I've got the Walmart preordered, and about to order the steel gift box set on bluray and 3d bluray.
 
I hope the main documentary feature includes a section on the suit design. And that screen test Cavill did in the Reeve suit :wow:

It is indeed a busy time. I even have a nice little hurdle of getting through a work conference on the 10th before all the PS4 and MOS goodness happens. I also have to add the unknown factor of when the Xbox One is coming out as I have that preordered, too.

Same here. I have the XBONE pre-ordered as well. I bet you $10 that the XBONE will come out the week of COD: Ghosts (which is a week before the PS4 releases). I just have a sneaky suspicion that they are going to jump out of the gate first. Especially since they have this exclusive thing going on with the COD brand. It's going to be released on November 2nd or 3rd. You watch!

I think that, too. Heard it on an IGN discussion and it makes total sense.
 
What do you guys think about how these movies seem to be getting digital releases much in advance of the actual physical release? On the one hand i think its awesome, I mean u can already buy star trek into darkness which still has two weeks to go until the physical release. On the other hand, does this perhaps lessen the incentive to get the physical version?
 
PS4 sales are already obliterating X-Box One. I went to my local Best Buy the other day and saw the pre-order cards with a PS4 wall next to an X-Box One wall. Not to my surprise was there not one PS4 card left, with the X-Box One wall looking like someone just put it up.

Yup. PS4 has done a terrific job reaching the fans and Killzone 4 at launch was icing on the cake for me.

Checked out the Walmart deal the other day for digital early MOS. seems I have the same problem with it as ST:ID in that you can't get the deal with the 3D version.
 
That's the one I want, without knowing the pricing and what extra's come in the special shield edition.
 
well looks like I'll get the bluray 3D even though I don't have a 3D tv
