X-Men The Official MCU X-Men News and Discussion Thread

Add Johansson as Jean Grey and Jackman as Wolverine or Magneto, why not?

Seriously what a completely uninspired choice for one of Marvel's greatest villains.

I fear for the future.
What you are suggesting with Cyclops and Jean, aren't gonna happen, when the Ot cast is still around acting in Hollywood. And Hugh Jackman has gave himself several more years playing the Wolverine because of the new movie.

Doom is a difference case, as the Doom actors in the Fox era won't have much fanfare if they were hired for Doomsday.

Which makes the Kelsey Grammer Beast cameo even stranger. Is it a farewell or not?
They're holding him to kill him and the X-Men off again

So we'll have another farewell.

That's one of the things I liked about Demayo's mind, when he used Morph to joke about another dystopian future where Logan is the only survivor. Or the "been there, done that" about Jean dying.

That guy gets the X-Men fans frustrations.

Seeing how things have turned out all the latest years under Fox and this 2024 under Marvel Studios.... its pretty clear Beau De Mayo is the best thing that has happened to the X-Men.

I can't at whoever made an instagram with the account of "xmenvsavenger" and then people picking it up,when it was obvious it isn't an official account.

I also checked several Twitter accounts that were spreading scoops weeks before SDCC (Scarlet Witch movie, Doctor Strange 3, Thor 5, Young Avengers, AvX), they deleted their tweets.

I hope '97 keeps its quality moving forward. But in any case, season 1 was a gift and I'm happy about it.

Now, someone posted somewhere of how quickly Marvel turned back to their white leads in time of crisis. Look at Doom's casting.

And with the result$$$ of Jackman's Deadpool and Hughverine we can all guess what conclusion Marvel/Disney will make of this. I can smell what's coming.

If you're not worried about the X-Men, I think you're a little crazy, but that's me.

I don't know why you expected so much X-Men in a movie called "Deadpool & Wolverine". Its not a X-Men movie.

yeah, its like people expecting to see avengers members on a third and bigger Captain America movie.
fanboys just gotta fanboy.

The Avengers were advertised in the trailers and posters of Civil War.

How many X-Men did you see in the trailers/posters of Deadpool and Wolverine? I guess SDCC'24 wasn't fun either when there was no X-Men movie announcement?

I've never said this and I think my post is quite clear. If you read more carefully you'll get it.
I know what you meant. You don't like them leaning to those "lead actors" (RDJ/Hugh/Ryan) when they are in a low point. With how the new movie is performing at the box office, we are going to get more to Ryan and Hughverine because $ matters.

But you still went on to watch Deadpool & Wolverine, and rated it a 3/10 in the other thread. I do think if the movie had more X-Men (more female representation/diversity), it could have pleased you and not ask us if we are not worried about the X-Men and calling us "a little crazy" for not being worried...

Personally speaking, I'm not worried that they aren't rushing out the X-Men. The original X-Men cast would be there in Secret Wars and the reboot shouldn't come out before Secret Wars/Multiverse saga has ended.

I made my points on why I didn't like the movie on a thread you obviously didn't read. It has nothing to do with lack of X-Men or diversity. I'm sorry but this is a very pathetic atempt of making your point and justifying whatever it is that you're projecting on me.

That thread? You just wrote 3/10.

So what was the post?

And why do we need to worry about the X-Men? Why are we being called crazy for NOT worrying? its not being released as the same period as Doomsday/Secret Wars and I had a fun time watching the latest Marvel film.

Surely it would be Ruffalo as Beast and Hemsworth as Wolverine.

And they forgot SLJ as Xavier, Hiddleston as Magneto and Renner as, uh... Iceman, I guess. Or maybe Angel...

By the time we get to it, we’ll have a big Hall H reveal that Magneto is ……RDJ! :D

And Zoe Saldaña will be Storm.

I mean they did have Deadpool go to an Age Of Apocalypse like timeline and get beat up by an 80's punk rock Wolverine, so that is one big event storyline they could use.

There's so many 1 and done villains in the Mcu movies, that its hard to assume they would give a multi-film arc for a lot of the X-Men villains. Remember when Red Skull was only a main villain for 1 film? Green Goblin isn't going to be main villain again in the MCU. Hela didn't comeback despite making a big impression.
