The Professor and Magneto aren't going to be side characters when they appear in the reboot. Like I mentioned, there are other actors out there. No need to bring back 2 actors from a 2011 film, that already headlined a bomb film in 2019. McAvoy and Fassbender aren't in the same level as Reynolds and Jackman. Like I mentioned those actors played 2nd fiddle to Stewart/McKellen when it comes to their respective X-Men role. You're assuming that Professor X and Magneto will be lead characters. Given what Kevin Feige has said, I doubt the movies are going to revolve around them again.
How does that defeat the purpose of a reboot? X-Men 97 and Daredevil: Born Again have been called reboots, but they feature the same cast/characters.
That's assuming that the X-Men will be from the 616 MCU. The Fantastic Four aren't from the 616 MCU. So why should the X-Men need to be?
Especially since the 616 MCU has declined so much in popularity over the years, and audiences aren't feeling most of the new Avengers all that much. There doesn't seem to be that much hype for this universe besides Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Daredevil.
Also, the MCU isn't that popular among Gen-Z.

Does Marvel Have a Gen-Z Problem? Just 19% of ‘The Marvels’ Audience Was 18-24
19% of "The Marvels" audience was 18-24 compared to 40% for "Captain Marvel." Marvel has a Gen-Z problem.www.indiewire.com
I am right. Ms. Marvel was revealed to be a mutant and the general audience didn't care. The Ms. Marvel show had low viewership and The Marvels made less money at the Box Office than Dark Phoenix. The MCU's popularity has declined significantly; it's not even debatable. The hype just isn't there anymore.
Speak for yourself.Fans were hyped about the X-Men being in the MCU back when the classic Avenger roster was still around. Most of the classic Avenger roster is gone now and the rest are on their way out. Even Tom Holland has said that his Peter should past the torch to Miles Morales. Nate Moore suggested that the third Black Panther movie might be the end of the series. Not to mention T'Challa is dead, so we are never going to see his relationship with Storm on-screen. There isn't much to look forward to anymore.
Actually, Kevin Feige said that they want to use Deadpool and Wolverine as much as possible (and they are not recasting Wolverine anytime soon). They're also bringing back the classic Avenger roster and the Russo Brothers. So it seems that Marvel Studios is doubling down on the multiverse/nostalgia after the successes of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, X-Men '97, and Deadpool & Wolverine.
Says who?
Are you suggesting that a young version of the X-Men is going to automatically bring young people in? The prequels proved otherwise.
We've gotten several Young Avengers members. What Young Avengers? We haven't gotten them yet, so there is no idea on their appeal. '
'
And seriously, using a one line from a end credit scene to justify anything is foolish.
Marvel put many major Spider-Man characters to the side for the sake of feeling different. So it's silly to expect that Marvel wants to have Professor X and Magneto be in the spotlight again. Especially since Spider-Man is a more popular franchise than X-Men.The Professor and Magneto aren't going to be side characters when they appear in the reboot.
That's assuming FF will be a hit.All the more reason they are going to put the X-Men and the FF into the MCU.
What interactions do you think the general audience are looking forward to then?Speak for yourself.
Not really. I doubt they are the 616 versions of those characters. You are contradicting yourself. You just said a bunch of people left, or are leaving, and there is no one for the X-Men to interact with, but now you are talking about them all coming back, so... which is it?
And you think they won't use the multiverse after that? In the comics, the multiverse still existed after Secret Wars. You seriously think they won't make a sequel to Deadpool & Wolverine? A movie that made over a billions at the Box Office?Says the fact that the multiverse saga is ending with Doomsday and Secret Wars.
There were only two movies with young versions of the X-Men: X-Men: Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix. The same prequels that got four movies made?
Exactly. That doesn't seem like a premise that audiences would get hyped about.I think MCU's Young X-Men would be more successful than foXverse well because thats not exactly, a high bar to surpass. But my God, we left FoXverse with the X-Men taking orders from the Professor and Mystique. Then wait several years, well a decade (11 years, if the reboot comes out in 2030)... only to witness Cyclops, Jean, Storm as rookies one more time... and how long are we going to see them graduate from that phase?
She's a firework. Marvel Studios better come and let her colours burst!Jubilee better be gettin' on making fireworks.
Late 20s, early 30 actors would be my ideal for the main X-Men. Actors around the same age as Margaret Qualley, Paul Mescal, Jeremy Allen White, Ella Purnel, etc... Actors who are very young without looking like teenagers.
You mean Cyclops.Jacob Elordi.....![]()
Hey as long as he's not Superman, Batman, or Martian Manhunter, I'm good.obviously!
Kevin Feige said that Marvel is done with making contracts like that.Ella Purnell probably doesn't want to be tied to these massive franchise commitments for the next 10 yearz
problem I see is that Jacob is sooo tall and if Im not wront, Sadie is pretty short, right?Jacob and Sadie would be fire together.
She could be a fun Rogue
Ive been thinking about her for either Rogue or Jean for quite sometime.
