Rogue should definitely be as old as Storm/Jean. I remember it being weird how Rogue was a student, and Storm, Cyclops and Jean were her teachers... i didn't mind that with Iceman and Kitty. But Rogue?

Also, Rogue/Gambit together in the big screen is way overdue. The reliance to the First Class cast was just misguided and they could have easily given us Channing Tatum with Anna Paquin and the OT cast so many times! Thankfully, Marvel Studios knew better and they are giving those actors one more hurrah in their respective X-Men roles (and leaving out the unnecessary younger versions which dominated the later run of FoX-Men for the worse).

Sometimes I get a bit sad if storm is always the teacher. It’s like she never gets to be on an equal level with the others. Of course she isn’t in terms of power level and class but she should be able to see the rest of the x-men as friends

I don't know about those casting choices.

But I would relieved if we don't get teenagers and early 20s for Cyclops, Jean, Storm, etc.

I'd be quite happy with Austin Butler as Gambit. I'd cast Tom Blyth as Angel rather than Cyclops. No to Mikey Madison as Rogue. I think Colin Salmon would make a good Xavier.

I think the MCU will eventually do the Phoenix saga. Not just because they split the phases of the movies into sagas eg the infinity Saga/ the multiverse saga etc, but they've also got the set up for the elements of the phoenix saga eg all the space stuff which they never had in the Fox movies.

“ Send that article.” she said. “I’d love to read it. How intriguing?”

She didn’t say “Yes.” She didn’t say “No.” But she did also give this big grin insinuating that she might know something we don’t. Perhaps maybe even if it isn’t a “rumor” anymore. Then again, she’s a phenomenal actress, so she may have just been pulling our leg.

Ok we’re going to be getting lots of articles like this soon so take it with a grain of sand but Kirby is so nice, an incredibly talented actress and definitely has Storm’s power, class and range. So she would be a really cool get.

She is a bit older than the twenties Kevin is apparently looking for so it’s definitely not 100% guaranteed but she would be cool
