Often in life we're confronted with problems, and we aren't really sure if the problem is us, or someone else. This thread gives the opportunity to get answers from others. I'll start, so we have something to go off of.

My best friend sometimes goes hours without texting me back and then doesn't really give good reasons as to why she disappeared. Is she being a *****e as far as communicating, or am I just too impatient and needy?

Perhaps, she might be preoccupied with something going on in her life at the time.

You're definitely too needy. People have their own lives to live. I really think text messaging has ruined a lot of things in this life. Do you happen like this girl?

I had a girlfriend that would constantly text me and the moment I stopped she was ask "if everything was alright" it was really unhealthy.

I suppose.

I thought so..And I kinda do. It's complicated.:oldrazz:

I think it has to do with my nerdness. I obsess over things. Nerds are the guys who saw Star Wars or whatever and thought "I want to know everything about that universe, I want to know all the stories." And that's fine, for Star Wars. It can be there any time I want it. Girls however, and people in general, aren't like that. They can't be there any time I want. So when I obsess, like I do with other things, it's hurtful and not normal for me when they aren't there for me like Star Wars or Doctor Who or Spider-Man. I just have to get out of that I guess. I know that's a problem with me and not them, I just have to learn not to obsess I suppose.
