The Dark Knight Filming Update
Source: ScreenEast.co.uk
April 4, 2007

ScreenEast.co.uk reports that Warner Bros. Pictures has set up The Dark Knight for filming at Leavesden Studios and that filming is also taking place at Herts & Beds.

The Chris Nolan-directed sequel, starring Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gyllenhaal, is expected to do a lot of filming in Chicago as well.

It opens in theaters on July 18, 2008.

This is just the latest of a handful of bite sized articles confirming that the real star of Batman Begins will return, even if just for a quicky.

So I made this thread to honor Batman's gadget guro. This one's for you Mo

Morgan Freeman PWNS. There's nothing more to say.

I love the thread title...awesome!

I seriously would have went on a hunger strike if Morgan wasn't in TDK. ****ing Wanted, almost screwed us.

I hope the movie isn't too crowded for him. He should be doing more than just gadgets now, I wonder if he's involved with the Hong Kong business trip/ Asian accountant stuff.

It also be great if TDK shows Bruce Wayne's philanthropy and social initiatives. He needs to fix up his reputation now and fight the mission off of the streets as well. so Fox should be in these scenes too.

Didn't you get the memo?

If Mattel were smart, they would make TDK action figures with Marvel Legends 6" scale and have over 32 points of articulation per figure, and a remote control tumbler you could put figures in. The Tumbler would come with an exclusive Lucius Fox action figure.

The greatest American actor of the 90's, by far.

For vintage-Freeman, at HIS BEST, see:

The Shawshank Redemption - A classic; his performance is absolutely amazing.

Se7en - He shines, and he plays a great detective.

Kiss The Girls - Another fantastic performance.

Driving Miss Daisy - The very definition of an Oscar-winning performance. This made him a legend, definitely.

Million Dollar Baby - Clint Eastwood's overrated "masterpiece", BUT Morgan was FANTASTIC, and stole the show as far as I'm concerned.

So, if you're just now starting out on Freeman Appreciation, rent the movies in this order.

- The Shawshank Redemption
- Se7en
- Kiss The Girls
- Driving Miss Daisy
- Million Dollar Baby

One of the finest actors ever.

And he was one of the three good performances in Robin Hood, the other two being Michael Wincott and Alan Rickman.

I liked Freeman in Danny the Dog/Unleashed as well. Freemans also in a new film with Jack Nicholson as well

Two of the best movies, and best performances, of the nineties. I love that man!

If only Freeman was in fight club...

You just had yourself a near life experiance!

So what exactly is the destiny of this thread? Just curious...

NO the first rule of the thread of destiny is you don't talk about the thread of destiny.

I think you are talking about the Appreciation thread, we have moved out of that basement, now it's the thread of destiny.

I seriously would have went on a hunger strike if Morgan wasn't in TDK. ****ing Wanted, almost screwed us.

You and me both.

I think that it is becoming my new "saying" or my motto. Now only to find a situation in which I can utilize it...

Hehehe. I try to use the "Didn't you get the memo?" line as often as I can at work. :woot:
