The Dark Knight The Official Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox Appreciation Thread of Destiny

So, you could say that in BB, he was a kind of Q...? A... BB-Q? BBQ? Get it?

I'm so terrible at jokes...

I thought it was pretty funny, actually... :woot: Does that say something about my sense of humor?

Nah, I liked the joke, too, I'm just trying my best to sound modest:oldrazz: :woot:

Glad I'm trying the whole modesty thing. That way, I can keep a straight face.

Oh we have a guy in our office who looks like Freeman.

I'm re-watching Begins and almost every scene Freeman/Fox has, is gold. I just like how his lines and his scenes move along the plot so effortlessly.

Yes, and he has very good chemistry with Bale.

Morgan Freeman just rocks your socks off, plain and simple.

"That's more like it Mr Wayne"

Freeman rocks! :brucebat: :batty:

So I'm not sure what happened to Fox at the end. Did he resign for sure? or since the machine is down he will be working for Bruce still? I didn't catch that part and I'm just wondering what happened with that.

I'm pretty sure the machine destroyed itself

Fox's problem was with the sonar device. "As long as that machine is at Wayne Enterprises, I won't be". After he enters his name when he was done, like Batman asked, sparks start coming from the machine and the screens start to go black. Batman's speech to Gordon is being played over an image of Lucious looking at this and smiling; exactly when the dialogue cites "people need to have their faith rewarded". Fox's faith in Bruce was rewarded with the machine being deactivated/destroyed. He no longer has a reason to resign.

This is the reason why you could be the mod I could never be.

I'm in it for the 401(k) plan.

Youuu...complete. Me.
This is the reason why you could be the mod I could never be.
*grabs tissue*

So in the comics/BTAS its just "assumed" that Fox knows Bruce is Batman. Its also kinda assumed in Begins. But in TDK its pretty obvious that Fox knows. He just trys not to acknowledge that he knows "like submarines..."

Right?

Fox said as long as that machine was there, he wasn't. Note that as the machine self-destructed, he grinned. He's still in, that's for sure.

When did Fox figure out Bruce was Batman? Im gonna assume when he sww the tumber as the batmobile, but...

Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox super in this movie . I love that he knows Bruce is Batman if their is a third movie, Id love to see him help in building The Batcave with Bruce & Alfred .
