    im sure well get the usual hockey sucks blah blah. so its expected. and its cool. youll just contribute to bumping the thread to the top..

    Canadians..

    as the free agent market opened today... we will be hearing lots of rumours.. such as forsberg and naslund wanting to go a a package.

    players like kovalev, neidermayer, aucoin, modano, palffy, foote, etc are available.

    will be a pretty damn exciting week.

    you cant beat us in the playoffs :o

    but the canadians need a power forward and a d man for sure. they need size. were fast.. .but were also puny :(

    hes unrestricted... that means he has no contract with SJ... anyone can pick him up and offer him any deal they want. thats what unrestricted means... he has no ties to the team

    Meh, it's no skin off the Oilers back. He never really panned out like what we wanted him to be, plus he was extremely injury prone :o

    Oh, and Panthers signed the duo of Roberts and Nieuwendyk.

    There are rumors that there might be a lot of duo FA signings - Forsberg/Naslund, Lindros/Leclair.....

    i really doubt florida has the money or team chemistry to do that.. nor do i think players as high caliber as naslund etc would sign with a losing franchise

    I think he meant around the league there looks to be alot of duo signings!

    I keep reading about players staying in Europe to play this season and not returning!

    Actually, I'm not saying that Florida will sign them. Just that I wouldn't be surprised to see Forsberg go where Naslund goes. The same with Leclair and Lindros.

    There is word that Anaheim is interested in getting Naslund due to the Brian Burke connection......
