Playstation The Official Playstation 5 Thread

I just downloaded a God of War theme for my Ps4 two days ago, then saw these time limited themes for the PS5... so bring themes back! They are great for customization.

I can't believe PlayStation is older than me. But I'm glad I experienced the first two consoles at a young age. I think we got a Ps1 and a Ps2 around the same time? (2003 to 2004). I remember we got a PS2 just because of X-Men Legends and my copy of that game came from Chicago, because my uncle lives there. That was also the time I got my first laptop. I was like 13 during those times.

I can't believe someone or a company can be the biggest shareholder with only 10%.

Yeah im Not sure how that Works... How many Shareholders does that Company have?
How can Sonys 10% be the biggest? How are the Rest of the 90% divided?

Must be in hundreds, if not over a thousand, with several people with less than 1% share.

It's a publicly traded company with 520 million shares so the number of owners in total will be quite high. No really large ownership by any one party though, as seen, and it's not too strange if no one is really trying to control the company and is more just investing diversely for profit. Still I too had expected a bigger acquisition for Sony when it made such big news.

Often the largest shareholders of a company are under 10%, especially if we distinguish between individual company shareholders and individuals themselves.

If you look at a company like Disney, the largest individual shareholder is George Lucas, who owns 4%

The initial news were implying that Sony was buying/acquiring the company, rather than just buying shares. In the grand scheme of things, I don't think this is a big change compare to Microsoft buying Activision Blizzard/Bethesda.

And what a fitting image on the article...because why in gods name havent we seen a new Sly Raccoon?

Definition of Insanity.
You made negative records with Concord and still hold onto the idea, hoping for a different outcome.
The risk is too big man, let it go...you cant conquer the market there.

I've been having problems with my PS5 hard crashing in the middle of games lately. Opened it up and dusted it and it helped for a little bit but I think I'm gonna have to take it in to get professionally repaired.

BTW I still will never forget hanging out on this forum and talking to you guys while we were all trying to pre-order our consoles in the first couple of hours. Good times.
