Game looks great, but I still suck at Socom. Never was good at it, still not.

I liked what I played... I was never the best SOCOM player but I was far from the worst, that seems to have carried over, lol. The map I played wasn't very good for sniping though.. at all.

Yeah, me neither. It looks great, but I'm just not into playing games that I'm not any good at. That's pretty much where I'm at with HALO Reach too.

downloaded the beta and played one round thought it was fun got 6 kills 6 deaths and 2 assists. So far it was pretty fun gotta get used to the controls

I downloaded the open beta today, and I really liked it. This was my first entry into this series, and unlock COD I was actually able to get kill points. It's definitely on my radar now.

i only every played socom 2 back in the day with my ps2. i thought that was a pretty cool game but im more interested in the fact that this game will most likely give us a really good insight into how the new resident evil game is going to be. i havent played the beta yet, i did dl it tho, but the new re game is made by these guys and i can only imagine the shooting and tactical controls of these games in raccoon city with zombies and monsters

I really enjoyed the beta at first it was hard to get used to the controls but once i got used to them it was a blast playing it's really easy to play and the maps are a pretty good decent size but i do have problems with the game like the Grenades and the turn speed when zoomed in, they also have to zoom out a little bit when you zoom in and try to shoot but other than that it really is a fun multiplayer experience. And since the Resistance 3 Beta comes with this game me thinks me will buy it.

It's good, it's just the bottom of the pile in a year where Sony is putting out LBP2, Killzone 3, IF2 and so many more...

I still want to get it despite any low reviews. This type of mulitiplayer appeals to me more right now then COD or BF3.

i will probably get it when it retails for about $30 the only main reason for me to get it was because of the Resistance Beta and the Multiplayer

playing the demo, I dont see whats so great about Socom. People made it seem like this game was going to be so much better than the last PS3 one bc Zipper was making it, but I still found it unimpressive and so far the reviews arent too good

I guess it's because the SOCOM series were really good on the PS2 and Zipper thought they could bring that experience to the PS3 which they haven't since SOCOM II and III didn't have a cover system and was more of a stealthy type of game where as SOCOM 4 is more of a COD 3rd person shooter
