I just hope that Gary Daniels gets sufficient screen time.

So, you won't see the movie because of the way Nina and Anna look? They made the costumes for the women even skimpier? Why am I not surprised.
I'm a second away from writing this off as just another movie that tries to cover up the fact that it has a ****** plot and bad actors by adding lots of almost naked women and sex scenes. And it's not like the word "seduction" written in the corner of the movie banner makes me feel any more confident about the movie itself.
I'm no tekken fan, and I've only played the game a handful of times, but I could have been interested in this movie. Man, I hope it's not just another R rated movie that tries to substitute sex for plot......because that's getting old. I'm sick of going to movies made by people who think : "Hey, they'll be too busy watching the jiggling boobs to notice this film absolutely sucks! Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy!!"

Yeah, overreacting much?
I have a strong feeling there won't be sex scenes in this movie. I also know that the plot/story of the game isn't all that complicated or epic so the movie will essentially be about the tournament...as it should. Unlike that lame Chun-Li film they made, where most of it seemed to be a detective story instead of a fighting tournament like the game.
While I agree with you about the fact that overusing sex and nudity can get a bit old and it is at times used to cover up **** stories, I start to wonder how old you are with the way you typed that last paragraph.
You do realize in most games and comics, most of the females wear skimpy and revealing outfits...especially fighting games?
I sometimes have a feeling that there won't be sex scenes in a movie, too, and then BAM! we get one for no apparent reason. I mean, as you say, this is a movie based on a fighting game, so there shouldn't be much, if any, sex in it, but, come on, did you not see the word SEDUCTION printed in bold letters on the movie poster? Why would they use that word if they didn't intend to make use of those women in their skimpy costumes?
Doesn't necessarily mean it's because it will lead into a sex scene with those two. I think that line is mainly for marketing, as you put it to get the guy's interest in this film.
I'm not young, or old, in fact I'm at that age where I should be all over sex scenes in movies. But, I just don't like sex scenes in movies. They're usually full of full body shots of naked women (because censors and double standards don't allow shots of naked men), which pleases all the guys, of course, but it doesn't do much for a woman like me.
I can understand that. Like I said before, I get sick of it being pushed on all of us all the time as well. It's like, sex is great, it feels great...I don't need it advertise on TV and in a **** ton of movies...I get the point but they're hammering it into everyone's heads.
About the not doing much for a woman like you, some movies have started to be more lenient with male nudity, so it might be more accepted in R rated films in the near future.
I'm not against all sex scenes, of course. They have their place in certain movies, but lately people manage to sneak really graphic sex scenes into every single movie, for no reason other than to please the men, and it gets on my nerves.
A great example would be Uwe Boll's Alone in the Dark. Just had to throw in a random and unneeded sex scene between Christian Slater and Tara Reid.
I do realize that, and it bothers me to a certain extent, but I've learned to ignore it for the most part. I've come to accept the fact that the movies and games I play are usually catered to men and, as such, they're full of scantily clad women because game/movie makers can't find many other ways to keep a guys attention.
But my main problem with the movie is that they took already skimpy costumes, and made them even skimpier. And why, other than to add some T&A to the movie?
In my opinion the girl actually had a decent outfit, but instead of having her wear that outfit, they had her wear a bikini.....with chaps......yeah, as if that's an improvement. Was the skin tight outfit not enough or what? The other girl had a decent outfit too, but they must have decided to make it shorter because a dress with a slit up to the woman's ***** did not show enough leg.
God, I know I must sound like some crazy feminist or something, but I'm not. I just think it's okay for women to wear a pair of pants once in a while.
You don't sound like a crazy feminist, believe me, if you did I would call you out hahaha. I can't stand Feminazis.
I get your points and the only reason I brought up the age thing earlier was because I wasn't sure if you were a guy or girl. Since most posters here are male I assumed you were a male and figured you for a very young one since you were complaining about sex/nudity and hot women in films.
As for being a guy like in my case, while I do agree that sex scenes in this film would be unnecessary I have to admit I do like their costumes.t:
This is one of yoshimitsu alternate costumes in Tekken 5. Does anybody know rather or not if this is what he looks like underneath his costumes?

^If you've seen their ending cutscenes, you know that may not be too far off. They are ridiculously flirty with each other...Anna at least.

If I really was a crazy "feminazi" I wouldn't last more than five minutes in these forums. My head would probably explode after reading a handful of colorful comments.
Yeah, I could see why you'd assume I was a young guy. There are only about ten women on these boards, and it's not like you see a lot of older guys complaining about that type of thing. And when the older guys do complain about too much sex and nudity, a bunch of dumb guys just start up the whole "you must be gay if you don't like seeing boobs" argument.
Thank god that wasn't started here.....
I don't mind it if you or any other guy likes those sort of costumes, I just have a problem when you get obsessed with those types of costumes, and it actually gets so bad that people complain when the women aren't naked/half naked often enough.
I hope this movie proves me wrong, and there little or no sex/nudity in it, just a lot of tournament action, but I'm too jaded to get my hopes up when it comes to this sort of thing.
Sounds like the Weinsteins cannibalized it.DTV in the UK.

92 mins.
No word that I know of on DTV o theaters or even the studio here in the USA. If anything, I think 92 mins is too short. Give me like 100 at least.
