The Story

is the prequel to Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, takes place 100 years before it and the main protagonist is Alicia the human vessel of the Valkyrie Silmeria. Some characters from the first game are in this game.

What's new?

Battle system: takes place on a fully 3d plane unlike VP:L, monsters are made of different parts which can be attacked, you can move around the 3d field (I cant wait to try this!)

Photon system: instead of just freezing the enemy to avoid fights, Alicia has the ability to swap places with the enemy by using using the Photon again once an enemy has been freeze this should allow for some neat puzzles in the dungeons

Einjerhar system: it has been dumbed down a little and they arent the central focus of the game this time around, they can be level up and at some point you'll have the option to release them for some neat stat boosting items.
