El Maybe said that BvS and JL are shooting back to back.

Kalmart, comment?

Seriously, I don't see how this man can be trusted to juggle all these iconic characters in one movie. Not just this, but Justice League. Someone please tell me what I'm missing that continues to give WB so much confidence in this guy.

Ultimately, it'll come down to the scripts. If there's one thing I can trust Snyder with, it's having great visuals. Hopefully they let Goyer come up with the story but leave the writing to someone else (maybe Terrio if SvB delivers)

Yeah it'll come down to the script. If the script is great, then Snyder will shine as he did with Dawn of the Dead, 300 and Watchmen.

They are obviously not shooting back to back. The article says there is no script yet for the JLA movie.

Which is not really the case. I got the impression there were rumors of filming back to back ala the Matrix sequels, and that's not happening.

I didn't see it in the report.

Let's see, I loved 300, Watchmen (Director's Cut), Dawn of The Dead and Man of Steel. I also thought Sucker Punch had potential. I don't have to convince you of anything. It's a matter of preference. Snyder is a decent director who is gifted with action scenes and visuals. Get him a good writer and editor, and his films will be great.

Everything?

As in every other director dies in a King Ralphesque scenario at some Director's Guild meeting?

Suddenly Snyder is tasked with directing Justice League, Avengers 3, Transformers 5, Star Wars Episodes VIII, IX and spin offs, The Sound of Music reboot, Step Up 6 Electric Boogaloo, Four Men and a Teenager and a Baby, Jaws 19, A Confedarcy of Dunces?

Yeah that would be bad. I don't know if he'd be able to stay sane. Also all those dead directors. The Oscar memorium segment would go for a month.

If the new Godzilla movie is a success, Zack Snyder is going to replace Gareth Edwards in directing the sequel, which is going to be inspired by Destroy All Monsters. Just because...

Cuz he made one of the best comic book movies of all time - Watchmen

and he made another pretty damn good one in MOS

The DCUniverse is something that needs to visually take stranglehold within its audience and put forth the effort into recognizing GODS amongst men in how these sequences on screen will play out. Zack has an amazing understandings of these characters and what makes this DCU click and with the right guidance in having help with the script by others who have a knack for making things fit perfectly together and with Zack Snyder's unique ability to make the impossible come alive, I believe we are in for an amazing journey.

Where did you get that?

It's in that article. It seems like that, along with Metal Men and Fables, won't be too connected to the Justice League-verse.

As for The Rock playing Black Adam OR Shazam, it seems likely.

How about just poor character development, pacing issues, and inconsistent directing. His shortcomings as a director are easy to see, even some fans acknowledge it. I just wonder how many people forgive all of these because the films looks nice and polished and the stories aren't as bad as a Michael Bay movie.

Say what you will about Snyder's style but he also manages to get the best out of mediocre actors and manages to find that one actor no one has heard of and makes him or her a gem in that particular film.

Man, I hope Darkseid is the villain. A Snyder directed Superman/ Darkseid battle would be SO EPIC.

Snyder is great at teamwork and execution. While Sucker Punch (which he also wrote) didn't go over as well as he wanted, when he's paired with the right writer Snyder can deliver some good stuff. From what I hear Terrio is actually a damn good screenwriter, so you have Goyer as the idea man, Terrio writing and Snyder executing. Could make for some pretty exciting stuff.

More the screenwriter's responsibility really.
