With past superhero TV series like Heroes, Nightman, My Secret Identity, Mutant X, The Flash and a few others that lasted pretty long and short do you think the new batch shows will last like The Cape, No Ordinary Family and any other shows I am missing?

I really believe that once Marvel or DC get's smart and puts one of it's characters on a pay channel like HBO, Showtime, or Starz and gives 12-13 episodes a feature equal $100 million budget, it will be a game changer. I really feel 2hr films for superheros really short changes them. Comics by nature are periodicals, and I feel anymore that if you take a character like the Punisher, Daredevil, The Spectre, even Hellboy a big budget not barred by film ratings regular weekly series, fans will flock to it.

don't forget their making liveaciton show of the phontom. i would like to see new flash show. if you hadn't seen it they make a flash tv show back in 1990s the specail effects are really good. you can get the complete sereis on dvd. i would like to see new batman tv show make it more reallistic like the moive. they could add robion every once in while. i would like to see live action ninja turtles. they did make one they add fifith gril turtle. the coustom looked fake. i would like to see a new live action ninja turtles show. they could addshereder and baxter stockmen and the mouser robotos.

Id get behind that....The Punisher could work nicely as a week to week show

Yeah, I think Daredevil will work best as a cable TV series myself.

Nivek is right a quality periodical would be fanstastic. Look at how good smallville and even lois and clark did and they both definately had their faults.

This is a no brainer thing for Comic characters to translate to. No ratings issues, the budgets for series are not that different than motion pictures, you can get a decent cast of known and unknown actors. I'm surprised WB doesn't do this with DC properties, since they own HBO/ Cinemax.

I always thought Punisher War Journal would make an awesome series, same with Daredevil (have them take place in the same Universe). After the last Punisher film, I'm convinced the character would work more efficiently in a cable series. Just keep it off networks. networks are a clustertruck to comic fans since they are more budget conscious and family friendly.
