The "Queen" is obviously Lois, kidnaped by the "Diabolical Murderer" Lex.
Maciste/Samson/Superman at first gets jealous that Zorro/Batman saves her.
So they fight!
But then they must join forces to defeat Diabolical Murderer/Lex.
It makes so much sense....

He's often retitled in other countries and planets as Hercules or Samson.

He was very popular on Krypton and is suposedly the last movie the Els took little baby Kal to see the night Krypton blew up.
