I need someone's advice, should I buy it or not? Was that really good movie?

:)

pretty formulaic, but fun nonetheless. definitely worth a rental.

It was worth watching.
Very fun, has some funny parts, has a nice set of characters, and Gene Hackman. If you like movies with nice love interests (like I), then this one has a nice little loving in it.

Like Jack said, it's worth a rental.
Don't buy it, though.
If you lived in the U.S., I'd say definitely don't buy it, because it comes on TBS every month.

Not worth the buy unless you get it for real cheap.

Voted 6, btw

I bought it for $8. I voted a 9 since, while formuliac, its a really fun movie and the characters are all great. Besides, I have a sentimental attachement to it since I first saw it when I was months out of the US and really home sick. This movie really cheered me up.

TBS edits the hell out of all the good movies they show.

Buy The Replacements because it's a solidly entertaining sports film. Nothing spectacular, just a good, funny movie.

If you like sports films, specifically football, there a lot of better options.
Friday Night Lights, Remember the Titans, Rudy, Any Given Sunday, The Program, Varsity Blues, North Dallas Forty, The Longest Yard, or everyone's favorite The Waterboy.

I bought it yesterday, nice movie. It was full of fun moments and typical characters.

7 out of 10.

It was amusing, I seen it at stores for 5.00 now, the girl that play the cheerleader is a cutie :D

i gave it a 7. i think it's a pretty good and very funny. the best characters are defiantely Jon Favreu and the English guy :woot:

Its not for everybody unless you are into football movies. I think Keenu and Gene Hackman were great in it. But i also likeD Hackman in The Quick and The Dead. Any Given Sunday is a better movie but i baught mine because of Madden and Summerall were in it. They made it funny. "Line like he was lookin out his ear hole for a minute. Also no male alive did not like the stripper fanny spank scene.

It's not worth your time, its not worth your money, and GeneHackman/KeanuReeves both need to keep it off their respective resumes.

...the guy from Mad TV can leave it on his. Orlando Jones.
