So I decided to start a thread to showcase a fix for the old NES pin connector issue. Arcade Works used Kickstarter to create a repair kit that will help mod your NES and replace the original cart dock with a new one. With the new dock, you will not have to worry about pressing down to make the game work, instead you simply insert it and press "POWER". If you have an affected NES, are handy with a Philips screwdriver, and have $24.99 to spend, then this maybe for you.

Well, I didn't have my very own console until the N64. I got hand-me-downed my brother's NES until then.

Super Mario Bros. 3 took the original game's formula and ran with it. Such a masterpiece and, IMO, the NES' greatest game.

I have SMB 1 and 3, LoZ, and Duck Hunt. I also have a WWE game and Jaws the game, but they're shovelware at its finest. I also have the games that use the NES game mat to perform jumps, but we didn't have the mat.

I remember one birthday my cousin got me a Super Nintendo game and of course I couldn't play it cause all I had was the N64 at the time.

N64 was my #1 for a long time, but the more I think about it, I have fonder memories of the SNES era. It's hard to separate that period of life as a child though, which probably clouds my judgement.
