They're past their prime creatively. Give me "Time Of Your Life" and "Pride (In The Name Of Love)" over either band's recent material. They've lost their way, and it's unlikely they'll ever find it again.

Cant speak for U2 since I dont follow too much of there work but Green day last album probably there most creative work! I dont feel saying the same **** a Million times but trust me on this its there most creative work yet...They really expanded on there music with songs like Jesus of Surbirbia, BOBD, Are we the waiting, etc...And I look for them to get even more creative in there next album. Good or not its defintely going to be different!

But, I notice that people whose beliefs and opinions are built on a flimsy, weak, rotten foundation, always try to exclude people who disagree. (Kind of like how you can't post on all the threads at stormfront.com until after you're "approved" by an admittedly RACIST mod)

I can't imagine myself making a thread about Led Zeppelin, or the Beatles, or DEVO....where I'd have to set up rules by which non-fans weren't supposed to post.

Doesn't that tell you something?
You want to live in a fantasy world where everyone loves U2 and Green Day as much as you, and where anyone who feels differently, just,.......doesn't "exist"???

And also, why is it that in every Hype poll about "best Rock Bands of all time".....Led Zeppelin is always at at least #2, and the Beatles are always #1?

Could it be that, maybe.....Green Day is not a good band, and that,...someday, when you grow up, you'll REALIZE this universal fact???

Just like all my female friends now realize that New Kids On The Block were terrible, even thought they had all their albums and their walls were polluted with Donnie Wahlberg posters???
