They signed Rob Conway?

Did he tell the New Japan fans to look at him? Good god he had one of the crappiest WWE entrance themes ever.

I'm gonna go ahead and pick Shibata to win after that tease at New Beginning. I wouldn't be surprised if he faced Goto in the finals, though I'd be happy with either Devitt or Nakemura getting that far as well.

It's part of this talent deal with the NWA. They add nothing to the shows and NJPW is better off without those guys. At least Shelton Benjamin is signed with NJPW and when he wants to, can actually have a good match.

If they signed a title for title match between Okada and Kojima it would probably be the most prestigious the NWA title has looked since its TNA days.

I already have enough reasons to feel inferior to Cody, he's just pouring salt in the wound now.

I miss Paul London.

Just finished watching Mr. Wrestlemania:

- This is basically a mini-version of Heartbreak & Triumph and in a way an extension of it. HBK doesn't go over the matches that much though unfortunately.

- Jive Soul Bro has been dubbed over along with Jesse Ventura being muted so Gorilla Monsoon is talking to himself again. Its still awkward and takes away from the WM V and VI matches!

- A narrator gives a recap as soon as the matches end while the archive footage is still rolling. Its annoying!

- The entrances for The Orient Express and Tito Santana have been cut.

- Shawn admits to fu**ing over his tag team partner! The Rockers were going to quit WWF for not getting their just due in 1991 then Shawn talked to Vince and reneged on Marty.

- Blames Hogan for WM IX being a negative show.

- Hates that Ramon doesn't get enough credit for the WM X match.

- Was angry he didn't get to headline WM XI.

- Wishes he hadn't been difficult with Austin for WM XIV.

- Austin Vs. Michaels unblurred FINALLY!

- Admits that he is an insecure person.

- Had to get Whisper's blessing to do the match with Jericho.

- WM 20 is mentioned, but all HBK says about it is it was cool.

- Mr. Wrestlemania was an impromptu nickname during a promo for Wrestlemania 21 and has stuck ever since.

- He pushed for the match with Vince because he didn't want to steal Wrestlemania for a change, lol.

- He gave Vince a hard time over the years because Vince would never listen to him and would rub it in whenever Vince was proven wrong.

- Wrestlemania 25 is what made him decide to call it quits.

- The blu ray interviews are the same ones from the shows, but HBK's deleted stories are cool exclusives.

- Michaels confirms he's staying retired.

More to come later on the matches themselves.

Seeing that Christian is the only person so far that has lost to Orton and the Authority saying they are reconsidering opponents for the Elimination chamber I have a bad feeling they might replace Christian a week before the PPV.

Dont be surprised if Lesnar takes out Christian and takes his place in the chamber like Edge did with Kofi that one year.

- As noted, Scott Hall added to speculation that WWE may be inducting him into the Hall of Fame this year by pointing out that he, The Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts and Lita all received "verified" Twitter markings at the same time. Hall responded to fans asking about WWE inducting him on Twitter:

"Merely an observation of the state of @verified accounts on @twitter. Nothing more..."

"ATTENTION: I've made no commitments to appear in New Orleans at this time. I'm a businessman and am welcoming offers. Thanks #BadGuy"

"Not sure I'd pass the popularity contest with the suits in Stamford, CT who make the decision..."

"Sorry...it's news to me. Not sure I'm popular enough in Stamford, CT"

"Not sure I'd pass the popularity contest in Stamford...#BROTHER"

- The UK version of Friday's WWE SmackDown episode had none of the Valentine's Day messages that were shown in other countries.

- Chris Jericho had a very healthy crowd of 1,200 fans come out for his World of Wheels appearance in Dallas, Texas on Saturday.

- Batista wrestled his first WWE live event match in years at last night's show in Phoenix, Arizona. He defeated Alberto Del Rio by DQ when Del Rio used a chair. Batista was said to be over big time with the crowd. He tweeted the following after the show:

"Tonight is what I missed about wrestling. I love house shows! Thank you Phoenix. #WWEPhoenix"

Former WCW and ECW star Scotty Riggs entered the VOC Nation Radio Network’s IN THE ROOM Studio to discuss his opinion of Eric Bischoff, the downfall of WCW, and more. The full interview can be heard here. Here are some highlights:

On his current status:
“I’ve retired from wrestling due to injuries. The final straw was a fractured ulnar bone in my left arm. 13 screws and 2 steel plates to fix it, and after 2 surgeries it’s still not right.”

On the American Males theme music:
“That was the creative genius of Jimmy Hart. He and Michael Hayes did a lot of the music over the years in WCW. (Jimmy) saw in me and Marcus, a mix of the Fabulous Ones, the Fantastics, and the Rock and Roll Express. His passion for those three tag teams came overflowing through that song. The first time we heard it, Jimmy was all excited, and (Marcus Bagwell) and I looked at each other and our jaws dropped. (I thought) ‘Oh my god it’s horrible but it still works.”

On whether he could have been a main event talent:
“I don’t know; to be honest with you, there’s always a main event run in somebody. I just didn’t play the BS politics game. It really got heavy and deep. Everyone coming in had creative control in their contracts. I was the 47th hire in WCW and creative control didn’t exist back then. I had many influential friends, so I could have played that card, but that’s just not me.”

On Eric Bischoff:
“Eric Bischoff never had the final say so in what was being done. Vince McMahon has the final say so. There were
too many chiefs in WCW and not enough Indians. Eric was a great business man when it came from going from Saturday night shows to getting us on (primetime) TV. He was never groomed as a booker. He was never groomed to understand the inner workings of an angle or storyline. The booking committee was getting things done for him; he
left things in the control of people like Kevin Sullivan and Arn (Anderson).”

On Vince Russo:
“Vince Russo came in and tried to turn WCW into another WWE. He didn’t care about wrestling; he cared more about
his ‘crash TV’. He had skits and promos longer than the matches.”

On Bischoff versus McMahon:
“Eric saw everything in the short term. There was no long term agenda. Vince has a long term agenda. In terms of Wrestlemania, everything (all year) builds toward that one big event. Bischoff ran things week by week, and you can’t be successful without that vision.”

On the eye patch:
“It was real. It was a chair to the eye. When the chair landed the wrong way up, the corner of the chair caught my
eye. I had a bruised eye and it became part of the character.”

- WWE.com reports that Naomi visited with a specialist this week and it was determined that she will not need surgery for her eye injury that happened on RAW two weeks ago.

However, due to “the break that she has off the medial or inside wall of the orbital bone, [there is] communication between her sinus cavity and the back of the eye socket.”

Because of this damage, pressure differences will prevent Naomi from traveling on an airplane for the time being. She will be out of action for 4-6 weeks.

There have been many reports on why CM Punk is frustrated with WWE – everything from pay for past events to his placement on the WrestleMania XXX card. Now we know another reason why Punk was unhappy.

Word is that Punk had been upset because he had been pushing for Luke Gallows and Cliff Compton (Domino) to be re-hired by WWE and they weren’t. Apparently WWE officials told Punk they would be bringing Gallows and Compton back but obviously still haven’t.

Punk pitched an idea for the two of them to return to WWE as a tag team and was apparently told they would be. When they weren’t, he took it as another example of where the company has intentionally lied to or misled him.

Word is that The Undertaker has agreed to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX in April and the match is a lock now. Right now, they’re in the process of going over scheduling as Lesnar doesn’t want to spend an entire week at Taker’s hometown in Texas to go over the match like his recent WrestleMania opponents have done.

According to a source close to the situation, Lesnar doesn’t mind going to Texas to plan the match but only wants to go for a few days. This isn’t seen a major stumbling block and is something that is being worked out.

I don't want either Luke Gallows or Domino back.

- TNA posted the following this morning:

“Thanks to our incredible fans, today the TNA Impact Wrestling YouTube channel has exceeded 500 million views, beating other popular YouTube channels such as UFC, NHL, MLB, NASCAR, MLS, WNBA, Marvel, CNN and Fox to the milestone.”

- TNA and Wrestle-1 are planning several more joint shows between the two companies. Right now the only one confirmed is the March 2nd One Night Only: Outbreak pay-per-view taping but more are being planned.

- Jim Ross has updated the Q&A section of jrsbarbq.com and was asked about Kofi Kingston never changing but always having a role on WWE TV. Ross replied:

“I think that Kofi is due a persona change. He’s got an upside that hasn’t been tapped and unless his TV persona is changed he’s going to be perceived just as he has over the past few years. Kofi is a talent WWE can make a main eventer out of.”

jesus, how many left mice buttons did dixie go through refreshing that page

I don't like Gallows or Compton as performers. I get that Punk likes them but they haven't won me over at all. I'd rather WWE re-sign Masters or Benjamin than those guys. Hell, give Colt another shot.

I miss London and Kendrick as a team :/ Would love to see them back in the E. Kendrick seems to be his own worst enemy, though

I need to find their latest shoot interview their first one was illustriously funny.
