I would not be completely surprised to see Raw and Smackdown's ratings decline a week after the 1000th Raw due to the Olympics, which will be on Comcast Networks, which owns NBC and all of its cable subsidiaries, including USA and SyFy. However, Raw and Smackdown are on primetime and the Olympics are usually on NBC during the primetime hours, so no chance of either show getting bumped.

-ROH Tag Team champion Kenny King is backstage at Impact dressed to wrestle and is taking part in a pre-show workout led by D'Lo Brown with a number of other wrestlers.

The word making the rounds at Impact is that while King is still with ROH, his contract has expired so he's free to pop up anywhere he wants. King was aligned with TNA's Austin Aries in ROH. Aries listed King as a talent he'd like to see in TNA during a media conference call last week.

As long as he doesn't try to flying skull**** anyone like he did at ROH Best Worst In The World, he should be fine.

Don't expect Kenny King back in Ring of Honor anytime soon.

The word making the way around the wrestlers is that King was supposed to sign an extension of several months while negotiating a new ROH deal, but instead after saying he would verbally do so, went and worked TNA instead.

While the wrestlers I spoke with tonight noted that they understand that King has a daughter and needs to make money for his family so they are happy he got the shot with TNA, the flip side of that coin is that King left the promotion and his partner Rhett Titus in a bad position by exiting without dropping the belts.

PWInsider.com has requested comment from ROH regarding the situation as well as the status of their Tag Team belts. If and when we receive something, we'll update.

****, I forgot he and Titus won the belts, the match was so bad. Well, bad form on King, but a TNA spot is hard to pass up. It's more a mistake on ROH for putting the belts on an unsigned wrestler.

Fergal Devitt for completely unbiased reasons. Does he seriously have a chance? Maybe with TNA, they have their X Division and perhaps after seeing the success of Sheamus, they might be willing to take a chance on their own Irishman.
