Just going on youtube and going to one of my favorite all time wrestling promos, they don't cut them like this anymore.

Shame this guy got blacklisted from wrestling after he injured a reporter

Just one more week until 'Part-Time-Palooza', w/ your favorites Brock Lesnar, Batista, and returning part-timers Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker. :awesome:

Sheamus looks great with the winged eagle

Note to Benjamin: Never exchange kicks with Nakamura.

Lesnar is still awesome and puts on good "attraction" matches without clogging up the title picture.

Undertaker has earned his one match a year. Also, like Lesnar, he doesn't clog up the title picture. He also gives guys who wouldn't be in the actual main event a chance to be in the next most important match on the show.

Hogan is fine with me if he plays a very small speaking role, as opposed to taking over the show, so we'll see how that goes. If he overstays his welcome, he becomes a problem.

Batista can just go home now.

- WWE’s Ricardo Rodriguez turns 28 years old today. As noted, Ricardo has been working in a backstage role for several months now.

- Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella celebrated their 3rd year anniversary this weekend. The couple will be getting married in April.

- There is some concern about DISH Network not carrying WWE’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view because their wrestling page features nothing but advertisements for TNA’s Lockdown pay-per-view. Elimination Chamber is also not listed on the DISH channel guide for next Sunday.

We heard from one reader last night who called DISH and was told that they will not be carrying Elimination Chamber. However, the Cageside Seats blog and PWInsider report that DISH reps say they will carry it. DISH reps say the pay-per-view is listed internally but did not provide an answer when asked why it’s not available for customers to order.

Wrestling factoid I read on Scott Keith's blog:

Zeb Colter (assuming he doesn't turn on Jack Swagger or Antonio Cesaro this week) will become the first manager in WWE history to have wrestlers challenge for the WWE World and Intercontinental Titles at the same PPV, in different matches.

Cornette managed Owen/Yoko at the September 1995 IYH against Diesel and Shawn (World/IC on the line), but Colter will be the first to do it in separate matches.

All of this.

Going to Raw tonight hoping to get a good show haven't been to a Raw in a long while so it should be fun.

-- ESPN was recently in Florida filming a piece on the WWE Performance Center and WWE's developmental program that will air on E:60 around WrestleMania time.

Is that Christopher Walken in the background of that pic?

That's a sweet photo. And that's two CM Punk sightings.

And here's the reason:

- WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee was given some time off from this weekend's live events. The Divas match in Phoenix and Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday saw The Bella Twins defeat Tamina Snuka and Summer Rae. AJ was spotted at a Chicago airport this weekend, being picked up by her boyfriend CM Punk.

So AJ got the weekend off to go and spend with her boyfriend who walked out of the company? :funny: I hope AJ waited until after they'd "Caught up" before saying "Honey....so about WrestleMania".....

@Slushy, congrats man, looks like you had a great time.

ECW Original Steve Corino recently spoke with the Shining Wizards podcast and discussed Daniel Bryan's popularity:

We over-think sometimes as fans. I watch Raw and Smackdown as a fan. I never try to over-analyze and say they're doing this or that wrong. There is no doubt that Daniel Bryan is so over, right? But, you don't think WWE knows this? You don't think a money making machine like WWE doesn't see what's going on? I think us as wrestling fans want Daniel Bryan to be in that main event spot right now, whereas the WWE says we're making money off this guy right now. Let's string it along and see how far we can go because we're going to need a main event for Wrestlemania 31. Stone Cold Steve Austin was over at King Of The Ring 1996, but go back and see how long it took him, as they strung him along, and people wanted to cheer, and they were cheering him at Survivor Series 1996 with Bret (Hart). They were cheering him in every match, and finally they did the turn and put the rocket up his ass a little bit after WrestleMania 13 and he didn't get the belt until the next WrestleMania, so you have a year and a half where they knew he was over and he was going to make big money for them and they just took their time, and I think that's what they're doing here with Daniel. They know he's over and he's not going anywhere. Think about how genius it was putting him with The Wyatt family for 3 weeks. They literally turn him heel and the crowd said no way. The fans feel like Bryan is one of them and he is doing everything they would do if they were wrestlers. I think it's great. To me, if I'm Vince McMahon or Triple H or Stephanie McMahon, I have it in my mind how Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk is my main event for WrestleMania 31."

maybe he right?

I get what he's saying, but there are big differences.

First, Austin was never given the belt just to have it stolen 30 seconds later, only to never get his revenge.

Vince never straight up told Austin and his fans that he was "B+ at best." Also, Austin began his rise as a heel, so they had to turn him then solidify him as a face, Bryan has been a face all along.

Austin was never booked to look like a chump.

And most importantly, I feel anyways, the crowds back then weren't hijacking main events and treating other main eventers with apathy just because they weren't Austin, the way fans today do when they don't get Bryan.

If they really plan on waiting a whole year, I'm afraid they're running a major risk of losing their next big shot at a true new star.

It's amazing how much better Eva Marie looks without that stupid bright red hair.

- We noted before that award winning filmmaker and producer Matt Goldberg had signed a deal with WWE. We now know that he's signed to produce stop animation content for the company. Matt appeared on The Rack audio show and talked about working with WWE:

“I have signed with the WWE to produce stop motion animation content for them; two of the videos have already debuted and my first one that I did for them just broke 100,000 views, which was the most of all the animated videos they have. So, that was really neat. They told me they put that on their YouTube homepage and I don’t want to go into more details; I’m not sure how much I can talk about right now.”

I'm looking forward to seeing Dolph Ziggler and the Island of Misfit Jobbers.

There haven't been many notable matches involving the IC title at WrestleMania throughout the 30 years.

WrestleMania 3: Savage vs Steamboat

WrestleMania 5: Warrior vs Rude

WrestleMania 6 title for title: Warrior vs Hogan

WrestleMania 8: Piper vs Hart

WrestleMania 10: Michaels vs Ramon

WrestleMania 2000: Angle vs Benoit vs Jericho

That's only six matches in 30 years.

Wrestlemania XVII: Guerrero Vs. Test

Wrestlemania XVIII: Van Dam Vs. Regal

Underrated IMO.

Underrated IMO.

Guerrero Vs. Test was a European title match. Van Dam vs Regal was a thrown together match that was okay. Regal vs Jericho maybe should be there, but that's still only seven.
