Transformers The score had moments of BB.

There are moments in the score that sound just like the Batman Begins score, and watching it today on DVD I really noticed it, there's also a part during the end battle that you can hear a bit of the Terminator theme, and also at the end some music that sounds a bit like the Halloween theme, but the Batman Begins music is really prominent. not that I'm complaining but it's funny how much it sounds like it, you can hear it first when Sam's talking about his great Grandfather in the arctic circle and they flash back.

^^^ Yah, but, you see, you hear A LOT of movies that their themes/score sounds alike...to me, Batman Begins and Shooter sounds quite a lot and Transformers sounds sort-of like The Island in some areas, and I could go on and on, but it doesn't matter if it has a part or two that sounds the same as another, as long as it's epic through and through, it's fine with me, and the TF score is really fantastic.

I hear not only Batman Begins and the Island...but also Pirates.

Of course with Jablonsky being on the Hans Zimmer team, everything's bound to sound alike, ya know?

But I give the score an 11/10. It is fantabulous!

its the same guy. he used in some parts the same music from the island. i like it.

but TF themes are IMO new and briliant.

i know what you mean i heard the batman begins theme too. I was like "uh wtf?" oh and the end music is the beginning of the linkin park song, "What I've Done". but when i come to think about it, it DOES sound like the halloween theme.

I noticed the parts that resemble Begins and Terminator, but haven't bothered to see any of the Pirates movies, so I didn't catch anything there. The occasional similar tones aside, I still think the score stands on its own merit as a beautiful and independent piece of work. It's getting a lot of repeat play in my player.
