Superman Returns the sets

did anyone else get the feeling in SR that the sets were not authentic? the outside of the boat, the daily planet all felt like they were just a set with no real life feel to them.

outside the boat you could tell that it was not on water in the sun as well as metropolis itself, just didnt feel like a real city to me.

some of them were well done. what do you think showtime about routh's wedding. the guest list was a who is who at WB, so when routh says they will start after the strike i believe he knows what is going on

When they were on the back of the boat and getting ready to launch the rocket, it looked pretty bad. I'm not sure if it was the set itself or the way that Singer chose to stage it or what, but it looked pretty flat and phoney. Otherwise I thought that most everything else was magnificently done.
