i knew they were going for a western feel to the movie but daaaaaamm....
the sets look incredible with the western goth feel to it:eek: ...

the cinematography for this movie so far looks fantastic!... like the scene with the fire rain... the bike on the building.

its all amazing:eek:

anyone else love it?

EDIT the title of the thread is"anyone LOVE the ..."..woops

Indeed. The fire rain scene was a beautiful cinematographic touch.
And adding to it the bull skull scene, the barking dog scene, the sequential shutting down lamps scene, the shot of Caretaker on horse on the cliff with the desert in BG... i think they nailed right on spot the western horror look.

the bar scene with the people ashed looked so freakin creepy/awesome....

master and commander sucked though....lol

Hey! I think Master and commander was a great movie!!!

The visuals are what's going to sell this movie most and from what I see, it'll make a whole lotta moola. Everything is beautifully dark and some of the shot's, choices are awesome.

oh yeah...the character just fits naturally in that kind of environment...open deserts, run down old cemetaries...great stuff.
at the very least this movie will be visually unique from any other comic book movie that recently came out

Well, now Blade's finished on the big screen, the stage is wide open for a supernatural superhero.

I hope some of the upcoming blogs give us a nice look at some of the sets/locations.

I know it's early but, I keep thinkin' about the extras for the DVD. They totally should have filmed the year long post production and show how the world of Ghsot Rider came about.

I can't believe I'm talking about the DVD...

I like this film which, I guess, puts me in the minority. However, there is one aspect of the movie that I really disliked...the set design. Ghost Rider is supposed to be a comic book/western/horror/biker flick. Correct? So, why didn't MSJ create his own city where everything blended in together instead of jumping back and forth between locations?

I felt that a modern day city with western architecture and a horror vibe would have worked best.

I don't know. Thats just me.

It would have been an interesting approach. It sounds like something Tim Burton would have gone for.
