The Soda thread

I've been trying to cut back on Coke. I've got a feeling it's futile.

Just picked up a couple of 2 liters of Pepsi and they are flat. Flat soda sucks

My nephew let me have a 2-Liter bottle of Pineapple flavor Fanta because he was visiting his mother over the Easter break week. I had never had it before. My mom doesn't like it but I do.

I gave up soda in 2013. Though I do wish that Baja Blast Mountain Dew came out in stores BEFORE that though. :cmad:

Probably for the better, I probably would have drank myself to death with that one.

This is your official thread for all things Soda.

Our martyred saint is Cool Spot from 7-Up :mnm:

Here he is protecting our rights to get obese from soda!

As you can see, he is very cool and even had a videogame about him in the 90's. :sly:

I will start the lively discussion with this SUPER IMPORTANT question:

Why does Coca-cola in cans and glass bottles taste better than Coke in plastic bottles? I don't understand!!! :cmad: Someone explain this.
This is at least as important as "manspreading" as far as national issues go, so please no sarcasm. :o

Enjoy your soda thread, ya freaks. If you post about Faygo, I put you on ignore.

You ever try the mexican coca cola? Way better than our ****. It was like discovering a new flavor for the first time. Lawd. I usually go in to their stores and buy a taco for a dollar.

I like Pepsi or 7Up.
Anything else is bust.

Mexican Coke is just coke made with sugar cane instead of that cancerous high-fructose corn syrup crap we've been using to sweeten Coke since the 1980's. I pretty much only buy Mexican Coke these days if I can help it. It tastes better and sugar is much more natural and safe than a syrup sweetner.

Cherry vanilla Coke Zero is my soda of choice.

You sir, you read my mind! Two greatest soda's in the vending machine at work:hmr:

Nut in the U.S.A. you have a lot of great soda's. In Holland the cjoice is small:csad:

sadly it is not sold in my area locally, I can get it in 12 packs at Target in Buffalo or Erie (both are about an hour or so away from me). So if I am ever in one of those areas and I am low on the Cherry Dr P I get a new case :hmr:.

Back when I was still drinking soda, this was my favorite. Whenever we'd get a case of it at my job to put out for customers, I would always hide it in the cooler so not a lot of people would know we had it.

In fact I liked a lot of cherry sodas, I really liked Cherry Crush also but I think they stopped making that.

I don't always drink a lot of it, mostly during summer things like cook outs, or I take a few in a cooler when I go to the summer time car shows. They still make Cherry Crush they sell it all over the place here, the one that is funny enough hard to find is Orange Crush :hehe:.

And Pineapple Crush.

I can't have caffeine due to a medical issue. That hasn't stopped me from drinking soda though. My favorite non-caffeinated soda is the generic Essential Everyday brand cream soda at my local grocery store. It is amazingly delicious.

I like Dr P, but it gives me bubble guts. I'm a Coke man, born and raised. When I go to restaurants, I practically chug soda; don't know why.

Some times there's just nothing as crisp or refreshing as a Coke.

Boylan's Soda (especially creme) is freaking delicious! They use cane sugar!

I'll drink maybe five sodas a year. I don't care for them anymore and my teeth have thanked me for it. That said, one of the these days I'ma enjoy a glass of vanilla ice cream with some coke on top.
