She wasn't a very good Storm as well, and appeared in bad X-Men films.

You do know actors/public figures get criticism everyday? Also she was part of the FoX-Men franchise, and during the years when she was part of it, FoX-Men wasn't very popular. If there was personal attack towards her, then too bad, but a lot of criticism she got was also based her on work as Storm. Then her saying she wasn't going to lose any job/opportunity when Fox was being sold to Disney, when it practically killed the franchise she was in, wasn't a very smart thing to say online.

There’s a difference between having an opinion and being nasty online. If you don’t like someone’s work oh well move on, post it here and then watch something you like. But sending her messages on her instagram, making personal comments on her looks and her family and doxxing her etc was not ok. At the end of the day it’s just a comic book film. Just move on to something you like

I don't think that should be brought up here, since the article I shared was related to Storm which she is forever associated with.

I think the MCU cast are automaticlly going to be compared to the Fox cast which will be harder for some (who ever takes on Wolverine after Hugh Jackman) than it will be for others (who ever takes on Rogue after Anna Paquin, she did well with what she had but wasn't given much to work with).

In regards to Storm, I don't think the person who gets cast will hve much to worry about (unlike the actor who gets cast as MCU Wolverine). A few decent set pieces showcasing Storm's powers and so long as the character isn't whiny (which she shouldn't be) and the actress doesn't go irritating people, the audience should quite happily accept the new Storm without a fuss.
