Iron Man The Suit!!!!! [Mark III-Red and Gold Awesomeness]

The suit looks amazing! Although I can't see Iron monger at all? Where's his arms and his head and stuff?

^Depending on what the scene requires, some parts will be CGI.

Iron Man is looking GREAT! I am highly impressed, and very pleased with what they've done. I'm very much looking forward to this movie, now.

Can't wait for actual footage of the suit in action myself, if the suit looks this good without CGI, imagine what the finished product will look like?

...but Marvel can select which company they work with since they started the X-men movies. DC has to work with WB, like it or not. they dont have the leverage Marvel has when it comes to controlling their franchises.

I think Steelsheen has gotten this backwards...in the past, Marvel's problem has always been that they were not under one roof, and at the mercy of what ever studio happens to buy any given property. Marvel has NO leverage when working with Fox or Universal or Sony, because they do not own those characters any more, said studio does. The degree of Marvel's involvement is decided by the studio, not by Marvel. Do you really think that if Marvel had the control they have over IRON MAN, when doing SPIDER-MAN or FANTASTIC FOUR we would have gotten the Green Goblin and Dr. Doom that we did?

I think Marvel's independance has been a huge success. This in-house deal has to do with profit, not with control of their characters. They got shafted by Sony with all the money the Spider-man movies made. They even had to take Sony to court, because they were marketing Spider-man without their permission.

Also it's incorrect to say the studio now owns the characters. Marvel owns the rights to all their characters and will always retain those rights. Sony, Fox, Universal only own the rights to the movie versions of the character for a said amount of time. With Universal their movie rights to the Hulk are null and void, and Marvel can now market the Hulk to any studio they want.

Warner has been a huge problem for DC and always has been. The Donner Superman movies were done as a negative pickup, which means the entire financing of the film was handled independantly of Warner Brothers.

DC still cannot sell the studio on other projects like Green Lantern, Flash and Wonder Woman, that would probably be huge hits with the fan base.

Superman Returns was a huge dissapointment for the big return of DC's flagship character. Whatever you feel about the movie personally, the movie was not broadly accepted. If you're going to blame Fox and Sony for decisions about the Green Goblin and Dr. Doom, then who is to blame for making Superman an illegitimate dad?

Not all Marvel project have been a success, and some have been just plain awful (Elektra), however Marvel has been more successful than DC of getting their projects out.

ILM is doing the effects
so expect something groundbreaking.

drakon??what do you think double post would look like ?
and on that we return you to our regularly scheduled topic IRON MAN'S ARMOR

I'm very curious to see how it's going to move.
From this static shot though I must say that I think that is THE best suit adapted from a comic book yet.
That boy's a chip off the old block.

My $.02.

Not my call. Excelsior is responsible for Hyper and all related images. However, if I had to design him myself, I think I'd design him similar to Hyper, but replace the blue with a dark gray/black, and give him a goatee. ;)

it does[returns to topic] are there any flying shots of shellhead yet?

Not likely, but Will this be our official INVINCIBLE IRON MAN movie thread?

Despite A year removed.

Thats what will happen if Stark Industries ever go bankrupt
