i'm so sick of hearing people say that about this costume, and it's only been a day or two. is this a spot-on adaptation? more or less, sure. does that mean that wolverine's yellow spandex would work on screen? no.

.

Of course...this is all your opinion, and I'm pretty sure that if they decided to create a yellow spandex wolverine outfit on the level of the spider-man films, no one would be saying a damn thing about black leather. Hell, they dont even need to use the yellow outfit...the brown and tan outfit is liked more by fanboys anyway, and couldve been used for a movie. Some of us arent limited by our imaginations and some of us realize that these are movies based on comic book characters, and i doubt anyone wouldve complained about the xmen outfits except fanboys who take their favorite heroes too seriously, and want to make them look realistic in an effort to look better in the eyes of the general audience, who again probably wouldnt care much either way...

Yes, it looks good. However, isn't this just artwork? I want to see a pic of the actual costume. I'm betting we'll see it released around Comic-Con. Maybe even a real quick teaser as well.

This armor has been labelled as Mark III. We've already seen Mark I. I think Mark II might just be a less-armored Mark III (less plating) or a slightly modified Mark II (gold paint and some improvements).

A two-toned mechanical robot suit with repulsor rays in his hands is way more difficult to interpet on screen than a Superman suit which you can buy out any costume shop.

Besides they had the perfect Superman suit in the Chris Reeves movies and didn't really need much of an "update" in Superman Returns.


Man I break out in tears every time I look at that suit.

are you saying that they are using hte cheap iron men suit from the comics or are they using the new suit that they started to use in hte comics whne the technology was better?

The Spider-man suit gets way too much credit in my opinion. They needed to make it look like a very well done homemade costume. The raised webbing, lenses for eyes, rubber material looks way too Hollywood to be something Spider-man would actually wear. That they screwed up so badly on the symbiote suit cancels out any credit I gave them. This suit is the clear winner.
