Iron Man The Suit!!!!! [Mark III-Red and Gold Awesomeness]

I was just gonna say the shoulder mounted rocket launchers would be Fwooosh Fwooosh. I'm not sure what a Repulsor would sound like though.

First, a low electric hum of the rays powering up. Then... ZZZZZZZZZZSSSSSS-KA-TRASHHHHHH!!!!

Okay i want everyone to back away from their comps and realize

THEYRE MAKING A GODDAMN IRON MAN MOVIE.

Iron Monger.

I haven't really followed Iron Man comics much so, is Iron Monger supposed to be that huge, or is that a liberty that they're taking with the character? Either way, I think it looks pretty awesome.

Wow, the suit impresses me big time. It's funny that when X1 was coming out and they gave the excuse that costumes would look dorky and turn ppl off, that I bought it. Then Spiderman came out and the almost perfect comic costume worked great. Now this one is just another nail in the coffin that newer superhero movies can work with costumes.

Why can't DC get theirs right??

Anyway great costume, I wonder what it'll look like in motion. Like others have said though, I hope it doesn't look too CGI.

Ironman will look just fine.

Its supposed to bet that size though a tad bit more blue.

I just noticed something.

Doesn't this armor,

look a lot bulkier than this picture?

The second pic is kind of far off but could the 1st one be MK2?

Yeah, I noticed that too. I thought it looked different than the official image even taking into consideration the lighting and very nature of the photograph, but the one's where he's fighting Iron Monger, though only visible from the back, look exactly like the publicity shot.

Nah I think its because you are seeing him from the back and the chestplate is what makes him look bulky.

Some of these pictures are just too cool.

Hmm the suit does look bulkier than the official pic, and the red is also lighter than the burgundy in the official pic. Iam kinda worried because the suit in the publicity shot looks slimmer sleeker and in the on-set pics the suit looks really bulky compared. Maybe they altered the publicity shot to make it look that way or maybe is the angle of the official pic.

theres really nothing AT ALL to complain about with the costume... its really perfect.

stan winston everybody

I don't like it when the stuntman/RDJ just stands around like that, it doesn't represent the suit very well. He really needs to be striking a heroic pose at all times.

I still can't quite believe an Iron Man movie is being made at all - nevermind that everything about it so far seems perfect. Sooner or later it will hit me, and I'll be ridiculously excited.

Hopefully Favreau will prove that being faithful to the comic source material is possible while still making a good realistic movie.

Man- I love the suit. I cannot wait to see this movie.

Suit looks bulkier than I imagined, but hey, that's how an armor is supposed to look.

How he'll move around will be the real test. Taking the bulk out of the movement of the suit will be a real challenge.

We hype!!!

The armor should be bulky enough to look like it could actually protect someone as well as have room for weapons, but also be mobile enough not hinder the users movement. From the video/pics seen so far, I think the film suit has just the right amount of bulk vs. flexibility. That's on top of the fact that it just looks plain sick thanks to Granov's reinvention of IM's armor, and Phil Saunders' and Stan Winston's contributions.
