Fine. Im sure youll feel much better wallowing in self pity. Way to feel better.

I don't pity myself. I don't even want other people to pity me. When someone pities me I feel insulted.
Me as an individual, just sees the world as it is. It's pretty messed up.
By seeing this and knowing I can't do much to change it, a swelling anger builds in me. I see people I don't know and generally hate them for who I think they are. I don't want people to pity me. I pity people.

Not really, unless you count those who got spurned when asking for a date that one time, or when their middle class parents would only give them £20 instead of £25...

I think too many people equate a 'hard time' with 'normal things that happen when you grow up'.

I never said he should go after a girl he doesn't have feelings for. Just giving him advice on how to connect in an emotional way. Complimenting a girl may get her to start to think about the guy in a "more than friends way" because it makes it a bit more obvious that he is interested.

Maybe I'm being too complex. One thing that has always annoyed me is the "dating game" Playing emotional games is a waste of time.

If you like someone, take a chance and just tell them how you feel, and what you like about them. If they shoot you down, then it wasn't meant to be, nothing you could have done would have gotten them.

If people just friggin said what they meant the world would be so much easier!

Emotional games arn't a waste of time! Its the fun part of the whole process.
I've been in love, It was the greatest feeling in the world and heart brake is one of the worse. But even though its terrible, its great at the same time....you know what I mean?
If I was rejected right off the bat because of me just being blunt about my feelings, I would of missed out on all that.

There is no such thing as teen angst. The only teens that should have angst are the ones that grew up in the slums and are dirt poor, or actually have a decent place to live but their parents have serious issues. Everyone else is just being a brat.

Everyone goes through their own variety of angst depending on what they can't handle mentally and emotionally. What might seem tragic to them, might not be so bad to others.
