Singer's book is going to be a mini series,not a run on the book anymore.

Uh, are you sure? I followed all that stuff, and I don't remember anything saying Singer would be doing a mini. He'd still do a run on the main Ultimate X-Men book, they just don't know when, and Kirkman will be taking over until that.

Thats what I thought also. Personally I really dont care anymore. Its been "in the works" for 1.5 years and its just *yawn*.

I think iv figured The Magician out, I think back in the world tour story arc right before that car was dropped on his head Proteus shifted his essence or soul or whatever into Elliot Boggs who was on vacation with his parents and was unlucky enough to be in the area when Proteus took on the X-men. The shock of shifting to another body right when the body he was inhabiting died caused him and his powers to go into hibernation, and now Proteus's powers are starting to wake up and its only a matter of time before his essence wakes up too. Its always bugged me that Psylocke's essense survived and found a new body to inhabit, I mean if she could why could'nt Proteus?

to tell ya the truth I don't think we'll see any development on that until maybe issue 85-90 somwhere around there.

No it was Brian K. Vaughan, but ya never know. The reason I said that before is because marvel just did a Magneto story so im sure marvel will have a breather period before they do another Magneto story.

I read over in the marvel comics area that whats happening in the ultimates right takes place a few months ahead of the other ultimate titles. And I don't know if they're done with Proteus or not, I just think its weird that The Magician seems to have the same exact reality warping powers that Proteus had and like I said before if Psylocke could survive and find a new body I see no reason why Proteus couldnt survive and find a new body.

Yea, theres no reason he couldnt. Hell Sabertooth survived a beheading. Im just hoping they dont.

Yeah heard that too. I think I also heard that it seemed like the other Ultimate writers were getting annoyed that they have to keep putting things off cause the Ultimates story isn't finished, so they can't really move forward with their stories cause they might end up doing something that doesn't mesh with the Ultimate story.

I didnt know that, I only knew that it takes place a few months ahead of the other titles. Thanks for the info.

Ultimates are supposed to be ahead of the rest of the other Ultimate titles right? I know Ultimate Wolverine Vs Hulk is ahead of Ult. Xmen, they just now showed Fury calling Logan....

In regards to the timeline discussion, maybe if Marvel got the damn Ultimates title out every month instead of once every three months there wouldn't be such an issue keeping everything flowing in continuity. Grrrr......
