Man this sucks!
Found out today one of the bosses quit. NOW I'm not sure what the schedules will be like in the next few weeks and at the MOMENT I have enough to finally buy that first Hot Toys Thor!!!!

GAAAAAAAAAAA

No thanks, I managed an Amoco Food-shop for 20 years, I don't need that headache again

Just finished Stranger Things.

I liked it alot. No idea what the **** is going on half the time but still great.

They better bring out Season 2 to start explaining some of this **** or I'll start a riot. :argh:

finished Mr. Robot season 1... it goes from good to ok... Not a big fan of the 'twist'... and I don't see a reason to catch up with season 2 unless there's simply nothing else on.

If you want to see something else that goes the 80's nostalgia route like Stranger Things but even more weird, then you should watch Beyond the Black Rainbow.

Anyone else watching Stranger Things get a really strong Stephen King vibe from it, especially the last couple episodes? I found it reminded me of his earlier works like It and Running Man.

Well they did have The Thing playing and the poster was in several scenes. I guess they like referencing their inspirations. :p

they did a damn good job of pulling off the 80s feel, atmosphere, etc... the kids especially... i feel like they are in their 30s right now... thats how well they did.

Firestarter was the thing that was bugging me!

That was the Stephen King book that was [BLACKOUT]basically Elevens story[/BLACKOUT]. I could not remember the name of it for the life of me.

The monster looks cool. What is its role in the story?

Science stuff...

Lots of spoilers attached to that thing.

Ah, so its not strictly fantasy? I heard there were a lot of D-n-D references in the show and thought maybe that might be where it came from.

Speaking of, its all Latin to me, but a friend of mine asked me some stuff for a DnD campaign he's running to get my moral and ethical axis alignments. I came up something like Neutral on one, and Chaotic and Lawful on the other. Is that good?

Stranger Things is basically a lost Firestarter sequel, produced by Amblin, directed by John Carpenter. Makes me want to take Shade of the Evening and watch as John Rainbird burns alive in a barn. Eva Green will be there too, praying to Darkseid.

The monster in Stranger Things is [blackout]a creature from another dimension. Scientists were experimenting on Eleven, the little girl. She could project her mind into another dimension. She made contact with the creature and a tear between our dimension and its dimension developed allowing it to enter our dimension. It starts taking its victims back to its dimension.[/blackout]

Would Eva Green be pooping blue stuff?
