The Wachowskis and J. Michael Straczynski developing 'Sense8'

Cancellation has reared its ugly head again. Someone on the sho said it doesnt look good.

If this is what you're talking about, that's not really the same thing as saying it doesn't look good.

WTF?!?... are you KIDDING me?!?... one of the more intelligent shows out there and they CANCEL it?!?... they HAVE to either find a new home or else, give us SOME kind of conclusion in the way of a movie of some kind... this just absolutely sucks and this one REALLY hits hard, especially since I've grown to really like this cast of actors and characters... damnation... :csad:

This one really hurts, so mad right now. I know it won't happen but I wish HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, or Starz would pick this up. Such a great show that never felt like it got the recognition or attention it deserved.

I haven't watched it yet, but I was kind of turned off by the advertising. Advertising that never gave me a clear picture of what this was about other then a lot of sex. :funny:

Very sad, just finished Season 1. Was looking forward to waiting with agony for the eventual arrival of Season 3.

I tried to warn everyone.

But i thought s2 was a little stronger than s1 tbh. I hope Netflix tried to cut the budget before cancelling it. For a "network" that doesn't like cliff hangers...having this end on if and not giving us a wrap up would be lame.

I'm on my way to kidnap and ransom the cast of Stranger Things, leave me alone. :o

All I can say is, on behalf of your health, I am glad that The Magicians officially got a Season 3.

:oldrazz:

That's the thing that's starting to piss me off about Netflix, and is starting to look like it's proving unmanageable. "Oh we're going to spend millions per episode on this show, we're going to promote it as much a we can (barely), due to the fact that we've got about 6 other seasons we're dropping within the span of a month and then we're going to scratch our heads and wonder why more people aren't responding." lolwut

That's really too bad. I have not watched season 2 yet, I was waiting until my new television comes in.

Ive also noticed (since the netflix app was reorganized and given the netflix stuff their own section) that they put out a flood of shows and theyve added movies and comedy specials to that. They release far more stuff than I imagined. They cant possibly promote them all adequately. And many of them probably arent even worth watching.

I saw plenty of promotion for both. Every time I went on for a good while, those shows were both front and center. I just wasn't interested.

I'm bummed about this, but I also feel like a lot of angry fans on Twitter and Tumblr aren't Netflix subscribers...

Venting about the cancellation on Tumblr and finding out all the ways the show and the Wachowskis are racist.

I tried to get into this multiple times, just couldn't connect with the characters or story. Interesting concept that needed better execution from my perspective.

NOOOO!!! I just found out it got cancelled. I didn't get to watch season 2 yet. I really liked season one and the Christmas special. This cast of characters really is magnetic and you grow really attached to them. Yes, the story was kind of....unfocused, but truth be told I really didn't even care, I just enjoyed spending time with these characters and their individual lives and storylines. The show had a ton of heart and loveable characters and some heart tugging moments. I get that people wanted more story out of this, though. This.is.a.BUMMER.

So...to those who've finished season 2...does it end on a cliffhanger? Or is it somewhat conclusive?

cliffhanger... they captured Whispers...

Well to me this is Marco Polo all over again.
Expensive show with not enough viewership to justify the expense of the show..

Sucks, I liked both.

Netflix responds to Sense8 renewal petitions: We can't make it work

“To our Sense8 family,” begins the letter, posted to the show’s Facebook page. “We’ve seen the petitions. We’ve read the messages. We know you want to #RenewSense8, and we wish we could #BringBackSense8 for you. The reason we’ve taken so long to get back to you is because we’ve thought long and hard here at Netflix to try to make it work but unfortunately we can’t. Thank you for watching and hope you’ll stay close with your cluster around the world. #SensatesForever.”
