lol this is pretty damn gorey for it to be in imax.. in terms of R rated movies to have been in imax i think matrix is the only one..and that was pretty lightweight with violence

I dunno if i would call this gory. Gore is something that appears in movies like Rambo or the Saw movies. I would call the action here more stylised a la 300.

And there have been R rated movies released in IMAX.
Aside from matrix 2 & 3 , V for Vendetta , 300 and Watchmen were also released in IMAX. ANd 300 was pretty brutal. As was Watchmen.
