The Wachowskis' Ninja Assassin

Wow that TV Spot was badass!! The ultimate Ninja movie.

Nice TV spot. I really hope this is a sleeper hit his this winter.

the tvspot was pretty sick considering they cant show any blood.. lol

Looks alright, but I won't pass full judgement 'til I see a red band tv spot or trailer.

would it be to greedy to hope for a 2hr long runtime for this?

I fail to see the point of waiting for something we may or may not even get. There's been no news on a 2nd trailer let alone a red band one. Most people here already know it's really bloody. lol I'm already sold regardless.

I wasn't that impressed by the tv spot and trailer as others were. Still, there has been great WOD from the early screenings that the film's a great, bloody time so I won't pass full judgement 'til I see footage of an action sequence. The point: I won't see it unless I see footage of an action scene that impresses me.

I wasn't impressed by the trailer either.

The only reason I'm going to see this is because of the track record of the team behind it. Oh and the guy who played Han in Tokyo Drift is in this.

With that tv spot, I've now become extremely interested in this movie.

Howard Stern seen a screening of this day before yesterday, and was raving about it on his show yesterday.

I thought he looked familiar.

But you know WB's track records for movies the last year or so.

I saw the trailer yesterday, holy crap was that awesome. :wow:

Can't wait for the movie!

It's playing at the VIFF this year. This is definitely on my watch list.

awesome tv spot!

i just watched speed racer again the other night. the simple things the wachowski's do with ninja's even in that movie amazes me, this movie it going to seriously blow my mind. everyone else imitates it, but the wachowski seriously know how to use the "wire-fu" properly

Your giving to much credit to the Wachowski for the ninja stuff in this movie.

McTeigue is really the one who deserves for all the neat ninja choreography in this movie. I agree that the ninja scenes in Speed Racer were neat for a PG film but McTeigue is doing something completely different with Ninja Assassin.

- The Wachowski's are involved with blocking all the complex fight scenes with James taking lead on dialogue related scenes.

The behind-the-scenes creative team includes director of photography Karl Walter Lindenlaub, production designer Graham "Grace" Walker, costume designer Carlo Poggioli and editor Giancarlo Ganziano. The Wachowski brothers' longtime stunt coordinators Chad Stahelski and David Leitch are also on board as second unit co-directors.

Don't take credit away from McTeigue.

A terrible director can ruin choreography, no matter how good it is.
