Developers usually aren't the ones pricing their DLC, it's typically the publisher. CDPR is in a unique situation compared to most. Still, it's cool to see small pieces of DLC dropped for free rather than us have to pay a few bux for it. I do hope we get some big story/mission type DLC as I know tbis will be a game I'll want to remain playing long after Iv finished the main narrative

On the DLC thing when they make it free I want to pay for it! If anyone actually deserved the cash. And I hope we get a lot more narrative type DLC after the main story is done. Don't let making it free stand in the way of doing ****loads!

Not sure what an HD remaster would be for the first game. It was a PC game, and not that old.

If they werent going to do a PS3/PS4 port of Witcher 2, I dont think Witcher 1 is in the cards. That would involve alot more work as it was built on a mouse/keyboard set up with a UI thats not console friendly. I think they'd have to do quite an overhaul to make it work on consoles and based on what I hear about them, they just dont have the time and resources to bother with that.

Man, it is weird to see people over on the Kotaku comments section get so hung up about the nudity. Complaints about sex and nudity having no place in videogames is just....amazing to hear.

It'd be like saying there's no place for cursing in videogames. And you'd think someone who's hung up about nudity in videogames would have similar hangups about violence as well. Just seems so conservative on nudity and sex, when so many aren't anywhere near conservative about violence in videogames.

But, I'm starting to think it's just par for the course with American culture. Nudity and sex is shameful, and we're shy about it. But, violence and gore is absolutely okay. The hypocrisy is kind of laughable to me.

I'll never get it either, I mean people are allowed to believe what they want, but I was always of the impression violence was far more damaging to another person that sex and nudity, never understand why they get put in the same bracket just because they are adult themes.

The Witcher is an adult game, aimed at adult players. As an adult I have the option to either play it or avoid it all together. If there was something I didnt like about it I just wouldnt play the thing but I wouldnt begrudge those that did. Odd but dat de internet.

I kind of like the Witcher more as it is an adult themed game, I think it would be lesser of a game if it was watered down in either department.

The only reason they haven't is because they are such a small studio and im assuming they wont outsource it because they don't want to give their creation to someone else. If they wanted a port, im sure CDPR would want to do it themselves.

Id buy a Witcher 2 re-release. In a heart beat.

I hate that people will go into Witcher 3 having not played the other two.

I didn't think he had from discussions a while back in the lead up to Witcher 2 but he might have since, or I might have got confused. I think most of us in that thread jumped on with Witcher 2 just because the original was on pc. The first had an awesome intro though. I'll play it when I can play games regularly again.
