Produced by Talisman Films in association with Hammer Films. Directed by James Watkins and starring Daniel Radcliffe.

The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.

I'm interested to see how this turns out.

Might be good. With Hammer no longer having a distribution deal in the states with Overture going under, I guess we'll see this dtv like the movie they made with Hiliroy Swank.

Ah, man. And I thought this was the new name for Men In Black III!

Just kidding, I didn't.

Certainly interested to see what Radcliffe does now that Potter has finished...teaser trailer.

Creepy stuff.

I will see this, one way or another. Hope Hammer gets some sort of distribution deal.

That was a well done trailer, I'm just hoping I can shake the image of him as Harry Potter.

that last shot of daniel radcliff in the window with the ghost coming up behinh him, damn that gave me a chill lol.

Wow if Dan keeps picking good stuff like this then he is going to have one hell of a career

Is anyone else surprised at how easy it is to see Dan and not Harry? I think he's going to actually escape that pitfall and have quite a career, as Donut said.

I saw him on Broadway in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying a few months ago...I had so much fun watching him play that character that I totally forgot he was also Harry Potter. He's really talented.

Really good trailer. Movie has a nice look and tone to it. Hope it ends up being as creepy as the trailer.

Creepy little girls speaking nursery rhymes are always good for atmosphere.

If they do, it'll probably be something akin to a Marvel Studios/Paramount deal -- Hammer makes the movies while CBS Films markets and distributes.

In any case, the movie looks both classy and creepy. I think it'll be a nice post-Potter film for Mr. Radcliffe, and glad to see CBS Films is doing the right thing by giving it a nationwide release. Perhaps with the early February date, I think CBS Films is hoping to catch some of that money Universal got when they released the costly Wolfman remake. A $50-60M haul would be a nice result for both Hammer and CBS.

This looks marvelous. Shat a few bricks too.

They've done a great job of adapting the London play's creepy atmosphere. I saw it on stage over ten years ago and the ending still gives me chills when I think about it. Hope they do it justice.

Is this film set in England or America. I thought it was set in England but the girl in the trailer sounds American. If its set in the states and Radcliffe is playing an American then can he do a good accent?? Anyway give me more Hammer Horror!!!
