It was one of the greatest angles of all time...but WCW dragged it on too long, bloated the faction and let it all get away from them. But, those early NWO propaganda videos...the aura of "something is about to happen" every Nitro and pay per view...it was something like I'd never seen as a wrestling fan.

I agree. Before NWO, there was no urgency to watch the last 5 minutes. But in the initial weeks I remember turning in hoping just to see Sting in the rafters for just the last 30 seconds.

Sting's switch to the Crow gimmick...hanging out in the rafters for weeks...his first descent from the rafters...tormenting the NWO week after week...he added so much to the overall angle.
